Engadine just got a new skatepark lights and all would love to see a review
@lostboy7103 сағат бұрын
Honestly, the soft sliders are more like a 95 a I would say. I love em. I’ve been riding the dragon wheels since they came out, but always wanted something just slightly harder and these wheels are perfect. Just soft enough to go over the rough stuff without vibrating your legs too much but hard enough to actually slide and bark. I still find odd that spitfire really isn’t advertising or pushing these wheels more. Because there are awesome product.

They've been great for crusty sidewalks and also my local park. Don't have a lot of experience to compare them to though.

Leon do another video comparing SFF4 93A vs X97, then you will really know which is better and more importantly for $4 cheaper. 99% of skaters arent made of money most are below the age of 30, keep that in mind, SO MONEY MATTERS. (I'm older and have money but I still wouldnt buy SFF4 93A over X97, due to the false claim of 93A and charging $4 more, I would rather spend the money on another set of SFF4 99A for use in smooth skate park and they dont cost $4 more).

Yeah I can't help feeling that the spitfire 93 is close to the x97, maybe even harder judging by the sound and impact feel. however at the semi rough marble surface spot I frequent, they didn't bark at all when sliding. weird. also, I remember trying my friend's spitfire 97a a few months back, and I think that might even be softer than the soft sliders lol not a fan if this marketing from spitfire... they would have honestly attracted people more if they said 95a because a ton of people have complained about the dragons being too mushy.

@LeonPaxton5 күн бұрын
If I had to compare them to any other wheel I’d definitely say they are closest to the 97a X Formula for sure! I agree, I don’t think they are a true 93a but that could be because of the actual ‘soft slider’ formula, or just a marketing ploy lol
@jimmyhuang87305 күн бұрын

Right, to me, the spitfire 93a feel closer to x99 as far as smooth ground and overall sound, but they are just slightly softer, I think. Maybe they’re like x98 or something, lol. One of my 93a wheels got a pressure crack after like a week, but that hasn’t affected them, about 2 months on. They seem to wear down slightly faster than x formula, but maybe that’s just from me riding and sliding more. They’re all really good wheels.
@burger11135 күн бұрын
@@swr410 hmmm I just compared the radial 54mm spitfires against my dragons today going down an asphalt road I frequent. I gotta say they perform pretty dang well on the rough. I used ride down their on my x97s too, and they were definitely not quite as smooth as the soft sliders. Maybe I was right when I first guessed they were somewhere around 95a. I will still stick to the dragons because I need all the softness I can get, though.

Don't know why you are comparing SFF4 93A to DRAGONS, yes Spitfire market them as 93A but they ride like a 95-96A thus they are closest to the X97, and X97 is $4 cheaper and slides better than SFF4 93A, unless you want a 95-96A wheel and have to skate Spitfire, there isn't a point to pay $4 more..
