I like Robbie's attitude of just have fun. I met a girl at a party while we were waiting in line for tickets, and she was on a dating app. I called her out on it and she started cracking up and gave me her number. We parted ways at ticket booth. My first text to her was "Hi its the guy you talked to in person last night, pick up any dudes using the app last night?" She immediately responded "Hahahahahaha" and said she was looking for me the rest of the night. In hindsight I could have stayed with her all night, but through texting, I will get her out on a date. The most juvenile / amateristic approach I heard on 21 convention thusfar. This guy uses gimmicks and cheesy one one liners that every other douche could use. Sure, if you have had only a 1 minute conversation, throwing in a little humor in your first text is okay, but apologizing after? That's about the dumbest thing as it devalues your credibility as a man. I'd much rather listen to James or Nick with their inner game techniques. They keep it simple and grounded. Just say "hey, how are you?" and trust yourself enough to let whatever happens from there, happen, and not use corny openers or texts. Their videos, followed by my own field experiments, have done amazing work for me. With texting, you can keep it simple. I prefer to give options for a girl to join me while I'm already going out to flirt with other girls. If she joins, balls to you and focus on her. If she doesn't show up, no biggie as you were out there to flirt with other girls anyway. The benefit is that you give her an exciting option, without being demanding or dependent. You could throw in a little challenge, something like: "Hey cutie, I'm going to the best cocktail bar in town this fri. If you wanna experience something unique, I'll show you". *Not how I did not write "let me know", but put her in the "wanting postition" by ending with "offering to show her something I'd do without her anyway". That's all you need. If she doesn't reply or does not show up after replying, forget her. If she can't make but would have liked to, let her wait for 2 weeks and repeat. Do not repeat more than 2 times; there are more time-available girls out there. If she wants to go, leave the exchange of words to when you actually see her. This way you can avoid awkward back and forth texting that leads nowhere. And as far as calling is concerned, sure, give her a call if you know that talking and/or your voice are your strong suit. Why not dare to be different when every other douche out there is texting the same girl? His reasoning is completely backwards: text because everybody else does it??? I'd rather stand out. And if a girl is really that easy that with just a few texts, she'll bed you, you wouldn't have needed any "special texting technique" to begin with, just a rendez-vous anywhere.
