She traumatized him so much to the point that he has nightmares and hallucinations about her, which shows how bad of a mom she was to him.

This mother’s selfishness knows no bounds. She knows how much damage she caused her son since he was young. She knows her repeated attempted suicides (or just threatening to do so) was what kept him by her side over the years, and yet her final act to redeem herself is to attempt suicide again and leave her letter addressed to her broken and hurting son. Not to mention leaving a teenager for him to then be responsible for when he just wants to be free to live his own life. Like how do you call this love? She didn’t think this would hurt both of her children and cause even more pain and mental harm?

Wow watching this brought me to tears. My heart is weeping 😢. The mother is a carbon copy of my mother. I find this story so relatable. Seven is fantastic. I left her in the dust. Been over 20 years now. Don't know how I made it through my childhood.

"GO Ahead" is the name of this drama.Have you noticed in many chinese/korean dramas the antogonist or villian( the mother in this case but it could be a ex girlfriend, boyfriend, grandma, father etc) who are evil, awful, bad... at the end of the drama, the writers change them so we are suppose to like them, forgive them. "Be forgiving Be understanding but dont be a fool". She was so horrible that even if she is forgiven, I would never trust her nor want her to live in the same city again!

My mother treated me almost exactly like this woman treated her children. I put myself in years of therapy trying to fix the mess she made. I had PTSD over her for at least three years after I moved out (same way Ling Xiao had nightmares about his mother). I don't even hate her, I just want nothing more to do with her. I don't know how these people can find it within them to even try helping these horrible abusers. And coming from real life experience, it's just not realistic that Chen Ting can change that much at the end of the drama lmao. Once a manipulator, always a manipulator. I pity Little Orange so much.

What a horrible piece of garbage that "mother" turned out to be. She abandoned her children. Blamed them for all of her problems she refuse to deal with. Projected her problems onto her children as if they were the movie screen. Too self-centered. Too narcissistic. She didn't bother raising her children. She only cared about herself.

I'm really sorry 😭💔 I know it's just acting but life is tough enough I can't watch a series with such cruel characters my heart can't stand a moment of anger or someone like that I stopped watching but I imagined a happy ending in my mind .. Even the idea of the girl choosing from the two young men to be her lover, I think is very wrong. She has lived for years with the love of brothers. Can't they make her help them to forget the past, and live happily and find a suitable partner for them

Finally someone I thought I was the only one feeling uncomfortable Like for years if i had loved someone as my brother no way I could fall for him 🥲 !! I hated it at this point how the boys were making pressure on her doesn't matter if his love was true or not but somehow it was disgusting although later i enjoyed their moments but still 🙂! she just wanted love from his brothers but it turned out awfully Disgusting!! I'm also happy by imaging the ending ! His mother can't believe he forgive her😖😖 I can't stand this much toxicity!!

Ella nunca acepta su responsabilidad ni por la muerte de su hija, ni por el daño emocional que le causa a su hijo, y tambien la forma en que está mal educando a su hija. No soporta a la novia porque es testigo de su abandono del hogar y de su hijo. Muy real aunque te hace pasar malos y buenos ratos. Un placer ver el drama y sufrir y gozar con todos. GRACIAS❤❤

同意，每個人內心都藏有善和惡念，但陳婷大部份是惡，折磨傷害兒子和女兒，還矯情留下遺書去自殺，如她死了，凌霄會一生悔疚。兒子太善良心軟，此種人很難真心悔改，現在只是收斂一些，凌霄應遠離她，纔能得安寧。😱😱😱

Essa mulher é inacreditavelmente egoista, narcisista, mesquinha. Mesmo na hora de se despedir ela faz com que o filho se sinta culpado por buscar sua própria felicidade. Ela só pensa nela, nas perdas e dores dela, obrigando o filho a abrir mão da própria felicidade. Se ela se arrepende deveria ficar ao lado do filho e aceitar o relacionamento dele. Ainda abandona a filha sob a responsabilidade dele. Chantagista louca.

I agree wholeheartedly! Like she was selfish even in her “attempt” to be unselfish. Like she planned to take her life and leave both her children with the pain and guilt of her own actions. What kind of mother is this?? She should have just gone back to Singapore with her daughter and try to be the best parent she could be to the child that was still under her care and accept that she may never have a real relationship with her son because of all of the damage she caused!

Esa madre psicópata no cambia nunca. El final de la serie, ese final feliz no es verdad en la vida real. La psicópata será siempre igual, no cambia, solo manipula, y volverá a aparecer su verdadero carácter, cuando a ella le convenga. Se han equivocado al querer hacerla buena, ella no lo será nunca. Me gusta mucho la serie, la reconciliación de la madre no, porque no es cierta.

Odio la idea de que porque son tus padres o mayores debes de aguantar todo tipo de maltrato y estar para ellos después de todo el mal causado. Y encima, cuidarlos para toda tú vida (QUE HORROR) Él nunca debio haber ido a cuidar a su supuesta madre, ella se fue después de maltratarlo y tuvo otra feliz vida sin importarle el daño que causo. Solo lo volvio a contactar para que la cuidaran, CÍNICA. Ella siempre se hace la victima causándole mas traumas al chico. Con cada acción que ella hace me da ha entender que si él no hace lo que ella quiere, ella se quitara la vida. Al final, él debe perdonarla porque sino se suicidara. Otro trauma mas para él. Si tan arrepentida estaba, debio disculparte arrodillada y suplicando el perdon de la gente a la que daño. Después, volver por donde vino y no volver a causarle traumas.

こういう母親を演じるのは辛かったろうね。若い息子に、下の世話させたり、普通なら考えられない。ドラマだけど良く出来てますね。良い脚本です。ただ二人の母親が、ノースリーブワンピース着用で女の強さ感じます。
