@@swearimnotarobot3746 I am 37, with severe PTSD, I would just prefer that kids get to hold onto their feeling of security for a little while at least with entertainment choices. They have active shooter drills, the news is scary, bad things happen to all of us, bad things are already happening to some of them. Let them hold onto magic of an escape
@swearimnotarobot3746
@swearimnotarobot3746 Жыл бұрын
@@Ralphies_Mom school shooter drills are not something that kids should have to do. The US needs to start getting better firearm control because they have more mass shootings in a year than days. It’s insane. I’m just saying some kids movies can explore somewhat darker themes. Like the lion king. Scar literally killed his brother. Kung Fu Panda. All of these movies have cool, evil, and threatening villains who do very evil stuff. But the movies are still really fun to watch and kids love them

swear to god, the reason nothing phases me now is because all of the 70s/80s/90s kids movies I watched growing up traumatized me

I still vividly remember how the little girl almost drowns while the nanny and the older kids were inside basically being tortured. Good times. And this movie was just really good.

I watched this for the first time in decades. I could quote entire scenes word for word, but I had completely forgotten THE GUN

I rewatch 90s movies sometimes as well, and I found myself in shock and full of laughter at how crazy some of these movies are. Dennis the Menace is another one lol. Problem Child, definitely another one, and a classic lol. Small Soldiers, absolutely lol.
