To close out our Guide to Washington, Tarik is on a mission to get high. After a visit to Mirth Provisions for some refreshing, hand-crafted, cannabis-infused soda, he hops on a gondola to climb nearly 7,000 feet for a last meal at the highest elevated restaurant in the state: The Summit House at Crystal Mountain.

U should be hosting ur own show on either the Travel Channel or Food Network. On like each states well known, unknown eatery spots & or towns local specialties & local chefs. Similarly to these last 5 segments but take it national! GOOD JOB! 👍

As a former Washingtonian, this series made me more homesick than I would like to admit. Off to plan a trip to Seattle... And Vice- get Tarik his own regular show, he's another star ready for the big time.

Washington is the greatest state in the country. Beautiful scenery, highest minimum wage, the states belief that we should have less restrictions on things people do everyday. The wildlife, Only having to pay 15 bucks to go to Canada to drink when you're 19, the school systems, the colleges, being able to live in a concrete jungle like Seattle or out in the mountains in a cabin away from society, the farming lands. Damn I could go on all day.

I like this guy as a host because he actually listens and responds meaningfully to the people instead of being rude and talking over them (like I've seen many others do). He makes the episode be about the food, people, and culture, of that region....instead of trying to be the main attraction himself. Yes... more of him, indeed.

Great host, indeed. Tarik let whatever subject he had at hand do all the talking, and only asked questions when need be. It made for a great series; a series without the usual intensive striving of other hosts trying to be special. Unadulterated and worth a second series.

I think most of us would be really interested in seeing Tarik just go around doing this a lot more often. More than being willing to involve himself and really learn what goes into the food he's trying out, he seems to enjoy doing so. And his reactions are just gold.

Tarik, You should do a couple more of these but focus on the east side of the mountains. I'm sure you can do a lot with the hops farmers in the Yakima Valley or all of the wineries around the Tri-Cities and Walla Walla.
