@@emilynotley6627 no one is trying to give them a medal. There are so many parents who will stand by their children who commit horrid crimes. Parents who will deny what their child has done even when that child admits it. Or there is an abundance of evidence. This person is simply saying they’re GLAD that his parents called the police and walked away. They didn’t say “oh these parents deserve a medal and to be honoured for calling the police”.

I know this is gonna sound a bit crazy but usually freaks and weirdos with pedo fetish surely the parents did not suspect anything from him at home like odd and stranger behaviours ? Like didn’t the parents knew that was at least some mental illness problem? Like didn’t they even attempt to get him help? I mean I ain’t saying that therapy would of stopped him from doing what he did but you never knew freaks and weirdos would change there life’s if there parent acted on it and just helped him with his mental health

Right?! Pennsylvania, United states here, was in court for moral support for a brother. Overheard a female inmate of color telling another that she was only found with "three bags of d0pe" so it carried 1-3 years. She planned on getting probation, counseling, something to start getting her life right. She had it planned out. When it got up to being her turn, yep, thats all of her offenses. No resisting arrest, no crazy endangerment of children, or anything, and the judge just maxed out her charges. It didnt take much thought on his end either. THREE YEARS FOR EACH BAG OF DOPE. 9 YEARS OF HER LIFE, SNAPPED OUT FROM UNDER HER and her kids in an instant. The whole courtroom collectively audibly inhaled. SHOCKED AND DISGUSTED when she left and the men came up, there was a Caucasian man who SA'd a daughter from ages 8-16. He got 3 to 5 years in prison and was required to register as a s*x offender for 2 years ( until his daughter turned 18) since he had no previous victims, and required to seek counseling. They were willing to whittle down his charges, look into the age of his daughter and made that factor into his sentencing because he had other children.... You stole her innocence for life, FOR YEARS. SHE CAN'T GET THEM BACK. YOU RUINED HER LIFE. AND GOT A BASIC SLAP ON THE WRIST BECAUSE YOU WERE A WHITE MAN. What a vile world we live in. I still think of that poor woman, and her poor kids... And hope that that man got from LIFE what he deserved since that prejudiced judge wasnt seeing fit to give that horrible man

I really don’t understand why Pedophiles are seen as worse than Rapers. What is the difference between one traumatized human to the other? Just because someone finished 18 he can be tortured in worst ways imaginable but only if you do that to the child it’s 1000 times worse. I am not defending criminals but I am outraged that so many worse things are happening and people only shout “protect the children”! @@PlayerFORgamev no one said child rap!sts are worse than any other rap!sts. and even still, while both are very traumatic, you can’t deny that something like this happening to a kid is a lot LOT more damaging to them, a child, compared to an adult. the children a lot of the times grow to love the abuse and their abusers as that’s what they think is normal and know no better, so they can either grow up to carry on this cycle and hurt others or they can grow up to realise they have been nothing but a piece of cake to monsters we call rap!sts. i hope this makes sense

The families of the children will always carry a certain amount of guilt which is very sad, but they just put their faith in someone who came across as a good person, unfortunately the scary thing about this situation is this monster looked like a normal guy not at all threatening. And he was well rehearsed in his routine of grooming the parents and children into a false sense of security. The church which hired him back after he was accused of hitting a child are really the biggest red flag for me……. Why would they do that? It just makes all the local people assume he was a good person. As a British citizen I feel disgusted this man came from my country, and clearly his family are disgusted he came directly from their family circle. I watch these stories and shiver at the thought of someone taking my child. Most of the stories of pedophiles you hear which occur in my own country end in the children being murdered to cover their tracks so the only silver lining to this horrible story is that all the children are still alive and well and now are with their loved ones and hopefully able to move on with their lives.

My bf worked in Malaysia in 2014 & you would often see 3 year olds with 6 month old babies on their hips roaming the streets looking for food. This disgusting man knew how to choose the country. Many parents must have known & did not care as long as they got money. The Malaysian police was also hesitant to react because they would not want to arrest a foreigner & face decline in foreign visitors. They would also face blame for not knowing any of this was happening in their country. It is so sad how little they cared abt protecting & saving kids from harm & torture.

I have worked in ESL teaching for 16 years. I spent two years teaching in Asia and this story, while the worst, is by no means isolated. The profession I love is regularly used by men as a means of gaining access to vulnerable children. I once found a group of men (aged from mid-20's to late 50's) in my staff room at a school I was a senior teacher at in China. They were all passing around some papers, so I asked what they were. The older men shut up but the youngest (and newest) said "Oh, it's a mingle activity look!" I looked, always happy to get new exercises for my classes and it was, on the face of things, a normal ice/breaking mingle task: name, age, likes, dislikes, ect. But then I realised they'd all got marks out of 10 on them and I asked why on earth they were grading a mingle activity "It's not a grade!" The young man said as the others glared "It's how hot the girls are". They were using these mingle activities to literally get a cheat sheet on how to groom these girls, who were all aged between 11 and 13. I had them fired, but it's like a hydra; you get rid of one and 4 more spring up because there is such a demand for native English speaking teachers in Asia that they will take whoever they can get. While I was there there was a group of western men who were campaigning to have the age of consent in China lowered to 12. *12* I lasted 2 years there before I couldn't take it anymore, nothing I did was going to clean up that mess while demand for "teachers" (and please believe me I use that word in the loosest sense possible) was so high. It makes my blood boil that people take advantage of children by using my vocation. Unfortunately ESL teaching is largely unregulated in most countries and until that changes and countries start demanding actual teaching qualifications rather than volunteers or a 16 hour online TEFL certification, it will continue to be a groomer's paradise and a nightmare for those of us who actually care about our students and their education.

I’m literally crying at the idea that his victims were as young as 6 months old!!!! Like I can’t even process that, I’m literally enjoying his death and idc if that sounds horrible to some people! But I have a question: like I can understand…ish I guess if your kid is at a certain age where they can bathe themselves so you rarely see them naked (you’re not giving them baths anymore or wiping them after they use the bathroom or helping them change), but when it’s a 6 month old…..I question how did the parents not notice rape wounds suddenly starting to appear on their 6 month old’s private parts when their changing them or bathing them after they let this stranger sleep on their couch-I would be immediately suspicious but then again I wouldn’t let a stranger sleep on my couch! Like idk what a rape wound looks like (I never want to know), but I’d assume that because it’s on a baby and their getting it from a grown ass man it..would..be…very noticeable…I’m just throwing this question out there-I’m not blaming the parents in anyway because this could happen to any parents kids no matter what, and I know these people were just trying to be nice and do a kind act and take someone off the street so I also won’t judge them for housing a stranger (even though a small part of me wants too, I won’t) That’s another thing…I was legit shaken to the core-I had goosebumps when you brought up the creator of the website how he was I think you said social worker/child social worker smth like that-I think pedos like him and Richard are some of the scariest because to me the first thing I think of when I hear pedophile I think a sweaty overweight guy, prolly balding, that catfishes kids using social media and the way he texts it’s obvious he’s a pedo….so seeing some pesos that are smart enough to actually work for and get jobs where they work with kids….literally disgusts me and scares me-because your suppose to trust people that have those exact same jobs they did…so it’s like you don’t know who to entrust your kids with because you don’t know who actually wants to help your family and kids and who just wants to hurt them Also….am I a horrible human being for laughing and thoroughly enjoying the that shit’s torture? If so….oh well. Also his death would’ve been a tad..okay more satisfying if it was coming from an inmate that actually loved kids in a non-pedo way and heard what Richard did and was outraged and dished out that torture, but I’ll take what I can get so long as he’s death and gone form this world I wish all of his victims therapy and hopefully they get a good healing and recovery.

Police in those countries do not do much without a monetary incentive. They do not protect the poor of the cities, because then, they would be taking on more work without getting anything for it other than their basic salary. The only crimes they want to know about is those perpetrated against the rich and influential. Even when these parents see signs that their child is being preyed upon, they will not always look for help, because it is seen as a shame on the whole family, shame for their inability to protect their child, shame for their child and shame by association for the rest the family. There are literally cases where children have been saved from child predators multiple times, because the parents crumble in their duty to protect their child, after the first crime against the child. They simply give up trying. Often, there are lots of children removed from their home and put in the care of NGOs (non-governmental Organizations) so that the child can get counseling, treatment and start to heal and to prevent them from falling back into the same traps. Their poor (monetarily) family is unable to give them any of this, usually.

It is sickening, no doubt. There are of course many who cannot stomach it. Fair play to them. But there needs to be people who work to protect children and change laws so that they provide better protection. In many developing countries, the only organizations that take on this challenge are NGOs who employ many, many under-paid, over-worked individuals who do everything they can to investigate, research, rescue and rehabilitate these abused children. There are many KZfaq videos put out by these Non-Governmental Organizations, showing you what they do, in order to raise money to continue their important work. Even if you feel you cannot stomach some of these details, please consider donating to such NGOs like CAMELEON, Captivating, Saving The Children and World Vision International. Sponsoring a child through one of these charities can make a real difference to not just that child, but the whole family, when some of their burden is lightened. All of these organizations help protect and advocate for children, ensuring they are provided an education and safe home to stay in. Even just taking part of the burden off an over-worked parent can go some way in protecting their children from exploitation.

As British people most of us don’t advocate for the death penalty, but there are some people who are so monstrous that this ending, (God forgive me,) is one of the only times I’ve ever really felt that a paedophile got the end they absolutely deserved - I honestly think this was fate. My jaw hit the floor when I saw the title of the video… I remember watching a much more explicit, hard hitting documentary in terms of his diary entries and other things a few years ago (it may actually have been a Panorama,) and I thought it was so sad that none of the children’s parents or the children got the kind of justice they would here in terms of compensation for what they’d been through, sometimes on the watch of people who should have kept a closer eye on him. I have to wonder why the man at the first place you mentioned ended up actually hiring him after reports of him hitting a child. I wonder if the parent was using a euphemism because it was too terrible to try and say out loud, and whether the guy who ran the school was actually cut from the same cloth. Anyway…. we are human. We can’t help wishing this kind of fate on people who are so sadistic that they have an addiction to harming the most vulnerable victims they can find. Well done for covering what I know was an absolutely horrifying case in the most palatable way you could - the first one I watched haunted me for years afterwards. I agree that the police investigation was genius with so very little information to go on. It’s good to know there are some detectives out there who will never give up until they’ve caught a dangerous criminal - in his case he was so prolific it couldn’t save the children he’d already harmed but it probably saved hundreds more had he been allowed to just carry on the way he was by the Malaysian police. Awful subject but great documentary.

I'm soooo confused. How how how do the parents not notice the physical signs of sexual abuse on their children? When my daughters were 2-3 they were only so big physically. I could not imagine a grown man doing that to them. But I feel like that would leave noticeable wounds because the child is so small. Are these parents not still dressing and bathing their own children? I just can't comprehend how a parent would not notice the obvious signs of sexual abuse on such a young child.

FINALLY SOMEONE ASKS THIS!!!!! I have thought this time and time and time again. I genuinely don't get how a grown man can go so far as to penetrate your child and you couldn't even notice.
