There is also a theory that the Horn of Winter is buried in the crypts. Also, there's a theory that the evidence of Jons parentage is Rhaegars Harp, which is enchanted by the Children, and lies buried with Lyanna. And lets not forget that the central structure that leads to the original and deepest crypts, is thousands of years older than the rest of the keep. In fact, upon discovering the original tower and crypts, Winterfell slowly grew around it over so long that nobody can remember it was there.

He won’t in my lifetime. It’s been over 10years and still no “Winds of Winter”, and there’s still “Hope for Spring” to be written…a ghost writer is probably going to finish it… and it will be disappointing, because we’ll never know what GRRM’s ending. I rather have his ending because this IS his creation!

The corps queen being imprisoned under winterfell is actually a new theory to me. I get it, but I’m not sure I believe it. Though it would be like GRRM to take a place that most believe, holds a secret to victory, and turn it against them.

It's a realm of the dead, where the current living learn their lives' destinies. There will be power of the Others, since Starks are descendents of Others. Jon will learn his heritage, both parental and ancient, and his doom/fate. There are regular dragons or Ice Dragons, which in Martin's not ASOIAF novella (wink-wink), one Ice Dragon can face three regular dragons.

There is a theory that the statues of the crypts come to life when someone blows the horn of winter, since it is said that joramun blew the horn and woke giants from the earth these being metaphorical giants of history and when someone blows the horn it kills them wich the theory suggests happend to joramun wich is why tormund lists him as a king beyond the wall broken by house stark and the theory suggests that the horn dosen't destroy the wall. Sorry for the lack of commas 😅

I always wondered how Vermax could possibly lay eggs in the crypts, I thought it more likely that the eggs are somewhere near or even under the hotsprings.

@@GaiaJendamore than likely, since Winterfell is built on top of hot springs, but I'm pretty sure that the books say that the deeper you go in the crypts, the colder it gets. This is part of The Corpse Queen Theory and that a Stark always needs to be in Winterfell.

Holy 7 hells the theory of crypts holding the corpse queen from the story of the 13th lord commander of the nights watch needs to be included into the jon snow show or make both the corpse queen being a prisoner in the crypts and jons true parentch should both be cannon to snow show series lead with him looking for his parents in the crypts then slowly move to the corpse queen

I’m waiting for the confirmation in house of the dragon but if Vermax laid eggs in winterfell it would make sense they are in the crypts where the hot springs are to keep them warm. Then Mely’s vision of “waking stone dragons” could play out too.

I believe there were not sure. In fire and blood it is a theory i think(?) Because you cannot tell if a dragon is male or female by appearance but if they lay eggs. And the author of fire and blood(the maester not GRRM) says Vermax never laid eggs before. The event in winterfell was the only time someone claimed vermax laid eggs

In the show, Jon learned who his parents were in the crypt, but this had nothing to do with the crypt itself. And just because something happened in the show doesn't mean it will happen in the books. As we all know, the last few seasons of GoT in particular have nothing to do with the books.
