Gilda doesn’t get nearly the credit she deserves for being a brilliant physical comedian. From the first 20 seconds of the sketch, you can tell she puts everything into her performance. Her facial expressions and movements are hilarious! Every female comedy sketch performer owes her a debt of gratitude. She put so much warmth and joy into all of her characters. Thank you for all the laughs, Gilda❤️

@@khairiledzhamismail1029I don't think Lorne made them look at the cue cards all the time like now. Because some of the SNL alums said Lorne made it mandatory to read from the cards to get a better camera angle sometimes after the show started, he simply did not like the idea of the actors facing each other and not the audience. You know, Lorne got to that point with the trial and error method and Murray & Radner were the first generation of SNL, you can't just say that memorizing is the best way to make a sketch better.

Oh God, I love the Nerds! I used to watch SNL as a kid and stay up way past my bedtime to watch the show! It was 90 minutes of hilarity plus great musical acts! I miss that Show now but at least I can watch it again on KZfaq! Classic Live Comedy! Thanks KZfaq! The late Seventies was a great time for music with the Punk explosion and then came New Wave Music! They actually had Elvis Costello and the Attractions on back when he was still an angry young punk! What great music that was! Good Times!

I know that some bad things happened back then during the time, but I tend to think of the seventies as being a more innocent decade, compared to what the world is going through now. RIP Gilda.

It was the turning point between the way things pretty much always used to be to the new greedy repugnicon era with their first feckless leader, ron reagan, the actor.
