"New Atlantis is an incomplete utopian novel by Sir Francis Bacon, published posthumously in 1626. It appeared unheralded and tucked into the back of a longer work of natural history, Sylva Sylvarum (forest of materials). In New Atlantis, Bacon portrayed a vision of the future of human discovery and knowledge, expressing his aspirations and ideals for humankind. The novel depicts the creation of a utopian land where "generosity and enlightenment, dignity and splendour, piety and public spirit" are the commonly held qualities of the inhabitants of the mythical Bensalem. The plan and organisation of his ideal college, Salomon's House (or Solomon's House), envisioned the modern research university in both applied and pure sciences."

Bacon was born in 1561, this book was written in 1623. Most, if not all of his literature was written in the latter part of his life. Not sure what gave you the impression that this or any of his works were written while he was in his twenties. Unfortunately, us of this era, who have it in our minds that things come easy and early on in life, must learn that the sweetest fruits are never picked hastily.

Also see: The Smokey God, Willis George Emerson and The Iron Republic, Richard Jameson Morgan...🧐 Similar themes...one to the Arctic lands, the other beyond the Antarctic ring 👍🔥 and he places Bensalem in the no traffic zone in the south Pacific, where (coincidentally?) Jules Verne places the Mysterious island at the oddly specific: 34° 57'S, 150° 30'W🤔 Skull island area🤫👀

Don't forget, Bacon also wrote under the pen name William Shakespeare. He helped King James edit the King James Bible. This is why there are no writings in Shakespeare's handwriting. I want to dig up both of their graves and prove it once and for all.

I'm reading Peter Dawkins on the Oak Island Mystery where he discusses the 287˚ ley line from Bacon's Gorhambury Estate, right through Oak Island, Nova Scotia, down through Jamestown, VA...but there he stops. I've extended the ley line right down through to Apalachacola, FL! BAM! I'll say no more.

Mmmm bacon. I like the bit about marriage, worked hard from 20/40 to buy and pay off home and property. Folks should focus like that so your 40s and on you can do whatever you want and you have a strong foundation.

I think better books on Atlantis would be “the lost continent of Atlantis: the story of Atlantis” and “Atlantis: the antediluvian world”. Although Francis bacon’s book is good, I was far more impressed with the other two. The first one is supposed to be a story but ties in so well it could easily have a lot of truth and it makes me think the discovered scriptures in the book could have easily been real when you look at how they were taken away form the archaeologist. The second one gives some very good information but you can’t read it with prejudice otherwise the book will be lost on you.

Kinda weird how all the weirdest worlds fairs were like 1850-1920. Then we're caught up on technology then the Europeans start WW1 then WW2 and try to eliminate certain old world races. The haunting of those dissolute places, or re- sort to courtesans, are no more punished in married men than in bache- lors. And the depraved custom of change, and the delight in meretricious embracements, (where sin is turned into art,) maketh marriage a dull thing, and a kind of imposition or tax. They hear you defend these things, as done to avoid greater evils; as advoutries, deflowering of virgins, un- natural lust, and the like. But they say this is a preposterous wisdom; and they call it Lot’s offer, who to save his guests from abusing, offered his daughters: nay they say farther that there is little gained in this; for that the same vices and appetites do still remain and abound; unlawful lust be- ing like a furnace, that if you stop the flames altogether, it will quench; but if you give it any vent, it will rage
