i watch a load of drone videos due to wanting one and try making my mind up what to get, and this CAPTAIN DRONE gives the very best detailed reviews on the drones.. cant beat solid reviews like this. and when its real cold i almost feel sorry for him ha ha great vid reviews keep em coming..

I have the Cfly Faith and the Faith2. Only sensible to get the Faith 2S, especially the longer range and battery compatibility with the 2. Thanks for the review.

All great features to use,great flight time,a little pricey if you're just getting into drones.This I think is for the more seasoned pilot,& more serious drone enthusiast.A very informative video,& honest review⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I already had the feeling that you must be ready to review C-Fly Faith 2S as I saw it on QC 101's channel! I wasn't able to evaluate it on this video yesterday because it was our biggest occasion-the end of fasting month and festuval of Eid-ul-fitr! Anyway, It is in one of the premium quality budget drones! Battery life is long enough as compared to other drones of this price which is 35 mins! It has that portable foldable controller which is now even better with the huge range of 7 kilmoetres and that is double then the previous version! The surprising thing is that the new controller and drone with many more features and controller's more battery life, they are lighter then the Faith 2 and its controller! Photos and videos are easily satisfactory for a drone of this price range which costs less then 500 dollars even with 3 batteries! It is also stable in the air with the efficient GPS system. Somewhere it is written on RC going website that it has Level 5 wind resistance and sometimes 6 and even level 7 wind resistance? That is pretty confusing, not gonna lie but even if it is level 5 minimum, then also it is very good! It does have many features including the great follow me and quickshots (Aerial modes)! {I know that they are definitely not as precise as DJI, Skydio or Autel drones though.} Also the RTH function is pretty good! Overall, its just like a budget Air 2S which can do a lot of things and not cost more then half a thousand bucks!

I have been looking through multiple tests of this drone. It is pretty decent, but definitely not a competitor to DJI Mini 2se. In high wind tests on camera, it consistently held pace with the Mini 2se, but these tests were only for about 3-5 mins. Upon further regular usage in high winds, a motor failed, and cost the operator repair time. It is pretty sturdy with cat 5 45kph wind capacity, which indeed, it will hold, but don't expect that to last very long as a regular occurrence. The Mini 2se can take that sort of punishment on a more frequent basis and has a tighter GPS hold in general. It is still impressive, and worthy for sure.

Hi Steve, need some advice. (A) Every time I use the Camera (Still Photo or Video) ... my phone image will FREEZE. - I have a Samsung Note 10+. Thus, disconnecting the image feed from the Drone. (B) I still have control of the Camera Gimbal. I know this from: (B1) Looking at the Drone (when in front of me); and (B2) On review of Photo / Video, I am able to see what photo/video what was recoded. (B3) I also do not have "voice recording". - the two functions, appear to be related? (C) I can fly the drone and see where it is flying by looking at my Phone ... HOWEVER, if I 'activate' photo or video ... I am now flying "BLIND!" Have you come across this issue before? - John

@@HERMsafety The first version of the Fait (original) did that with my iPhone, so I used my Android phone. The problem was the App. This version worked perfectly with my iPhone 11 Pro Max, but I never tried it with an Android phone. It just means there is a conflict in your phone (trying a different phone or tablet and all should work). I say that because thousands of people have this drone & love it. I do see that every now and then someone has an app issue which tells me it is the phone that is the problem…. Sometimes even something as simple as a phone setting or the removal of another app causing conflict. I don’t keep drones for very long as I have no storage space, so I no longer have this one.

C- Fly has came a long way and I think all there research has paid off. This model checks all the boxes in it’s category including price. It looks like drone manufacturers are trying to draw in the social media group which will be good for sales and improvements. Well done as usual Captain 👍

Looks like C-fly is finally getting things right; they surely took their time (many years), but it's good to see they've kept on improving their quads. All too often they would launch a quad that seemed to have the right build, materials etc, but always lacked finesse. This Faith 2S seems to tick all the right boxes, so kudos to C-fly.

Other than a little bit of horizon tilt the photos and video look really good. I see this as a solid option to the Air 2 and it isn't geofenced. Huge plus in my book. I like that it doesn't need all the calibrations before each flight. Another huge plus.

Perfect test as always! 😀 Good picture quality, that's the most important thing. Unfortunately, this drone is just >500g; in Switzerland, drones over 500g are strictly limited, later the limit will probably even drop to 250g after the adoption of the EU regulations😪.

Nice review on the new C-Fly Faith2s. I know for a fact that they’ve been working hard to perfect the Faith2s for a while now to put it into the market. Btw. On the new “Sports Mode” the gimbal stays stabilized and doesn’t move erratically like the original version, which is a big improvement. The transmission signal and FPV feed seemed to be working very smoothly from the looks of it, which is another big improvement. And the biggest improvement is that it now can upgrade the firmware by itself, wirelessly online. That was one of the major issues the original version had, so this is a plus. Thanks for reviewing it and showing us the first dibs on it. 👍🏻👍🏻

Smooth video. I like this one. It may seem a lil pricey but with the Mavic Mini goin for a grand, IDK. This is the year everybody has to put radiostations on their drones so you would think we would get a price break. Great drone though and with the 3 axis gimble maybe it priced right

After watching your video review for Faith 2...i decided to go ahead and make the purchase. But my experience was a terrible one, it was actually beyond terrible, it was horrible. First, i contacted a supplier from Alibaba who supplied me 2 drones. 1 Faith 2 and a smaller toy drone for my son. Before the drone arrived my location, i tried engaging my supplier for extra batteries but only to realize he has blocked me from viewing his page on Alibaba. i didn't consider it a red flag because i watched your review and i trusted Alibaba capacity to deliver quality product. Had to purchase the 2 extra batteries from another supplier. The drone arrived and i decided to take it out for a spin. Every check was completed, the drone powered on with the controller. i hit the take off button and the drone flew up to about 10m and suddenly the drone lost power mid air and crash landed, damaging one of its landing legs. But no serious damage to the drone. took it back to office, ran further checks to confirm if i was doing anything wrong. Took it some days later for another spin and this time i flew the drone high up and very far from me but i was still maintaining a line of sight. Suddenly the drone lost power again but this time crash landed and scattered the drone into tiny parts. i died a thousand times watching my drone fall of the sky with me watching helpless. The only explanation that could ring in my head was that i was sold a defectives drone. Spent over $250 both in purchase and shipping only to fly the drone just once. Very heartbreaking...I have watched your review for Faith 2S and have also placed another $350 on purchase and shipping. i just hope i will be saved that heartbreak again

Alibaba??? I honestly would not recommend them. My links are to ALIEXPRESS which is an Asian version of AMAZON (i.e., it is not a store, but sellers all selling under the one title). Now, since I'm a guy who has been in the drone hobby since 2013 and making vids on KZfaq since 2016, your experience as a newbie with a drone product is not that much different than others. I've read countless posts from people who are first timers and have a nightmare experience. If you read comments under any DRONE sold on AMAZON, you will see the exact same nightmare bad experience comments. My only advice is that if you want a more positive experience than perhaps get yourself a DJI MINI SE (around $299 US). DJI has perfected their product to be made especially for beginners so that the experience is great. I've easily flown/reviewed over 500 or 700 different drones and perhaps less than 1% are defective from the start. But and it is a BIG BUT... I've been at this a long time so everything works great for me as I know my way around the slightest roadblock. Hopefully your next experience is better.

Based on the strength of your review I have ordered this drone from Banggood (name of the site is hilarious). Surprised after I ordered this drone that I didn't get a "love you long time sailor popup"! lol No geo fence good camera res and the price is fantastic. Ordered the 3 battery package. Have to wait until the 2nd week of August for it to get here though. If this drone is as good as you say it is I might have to retire my DJI Spark.

I bought one online but got defected one. One of the motor on the wing gets super heated. And also the drone looses control and drops down on the ground. I asked them to replace it because it has warranty but they wouldn't care.

Yup. Autel came out with it in their EVO Lite drone. There’s actually spins the video while recording for a cool effect.

Hi Steve, Nice review and a nice drone for beginners, The contrast was a bit dark but that can be corrected. I checked the price it is too high in my opinion, it cost close, to the same as a DJI mini 2 - I would prefer the Mini 2.

The c-fly is heavier and will be more stable against the wind, so it has more powerful engines than a mini 2.

First the mini 2 is a drone made for countries with regulations for drones under 250 grams, so people don’t normally compare drones in the two different weight classes. DJI drones are heavily refined so I think the mini would win in some categories and the faith2s in others.

Hi Steeve, Greetings from Greece... I have Faith 2 and i am extremely happy with it... also having a couple of friends with Dji air and mini 2 that are quite jealous with Faith2 's capabilities... (or luck of restrictions). What are your comments on the video quality? I would dare to say that watching your video on 4k on youtube i found the drone footage quite blurry and shaky/flickering... was that the FPV video or the one recorded on SD card>? Thanks!

Try watchng the video again as it should be smooth. Could be your internet bandwidth or you're watching it in too high a resolution for the capabilities of your computer.

I have a drone feath2 and feath2S. I took the battery from feath2 and put it on feath2S. The drone turned on, but it was not possible to take off. There was a message, The battery does not match please replase the battery.All the inscriptions on both batteries are exactly the same

Steve I have a CFLY2 Faith 2S ...when I put my Faith 2 battery into the 2S everything powers up and it gets ready like it wants to fly but then I get a warning on my flight screen that says battery is not for this drone to replace the battery and it won't let me takeoff do you have any suggestions

Probably a firmware update issue needed for the battery. You’d have to contact the C-Fly folks.

Not this one. The only drones that do that are DJI drones with obstacle avoidance and the SKYDIO 2 drone.

HI Captain, i love this drone ! I also like youre neighborhood. I live in belgium, and i speak french, i saw some french pannel on the road using streetview. Do you speech french also ? Good video anyway :)

In Canada the two official languages are English & French so many items are bilingual. I speak a bit of French.

Still weird the calibration is not necessary but its great it take's some time on other drones to calibrate. And the less flight time on them because of calibrating is not ok so thats why i like this so much! 🙂

Help! Just received this drone problem is I can’t “authorize” the drone. When I try to set up an account through the cfly 2 app and go through the steps of providing an email and password I get a http internal server error 500 message. Can anyone help?

Check if there is a way to bypass having an account. I can’t speak to your server error, it could be anything if information is not provided as requested.

I figured out what was wrong. 2 things neither of which is my fault really just bad coding on cfly's part. 1) my email address contains four numbers...it choked on that. 2) I created a password with a # symbol..it choked on that. So I used an alternate email address which contained no #'s and it passed. Then I used a password with no special symbols and that got me into the software...whew..... all this was a buzz kill for a while but now I can't wait to take the drone up.

My cfly faith 2 was flying longer than the mini 2 i liked it very much, but the gimbal had problems....

Hola, te consulto a ver si me puedes ayudar. Mi C fly faith2 realiza el Return To Home automaticamente a los 40" aprox de despegar, y luego queda con el mensaje "land mode". Tengo que apagarlo y luego vuelve a hacer lo mismo, tienes idea de que se trata? Gracias!
