I saw it to with its blues and twos going through portchester I was there at the right time. Looks nice can't wait when portchester gets one.

the way rural greenland is disappearing for houses there will be no need for these appliances the biggest downside I see is that they carry only 5 fire fighters which means 1 crew less for a serious incident unlike before covid a basic crew was 6 fire fighters welcome todays modern fire fighting in a noddy fire appliance, A lot of fire fighters at the station where I was fire fighting don't like these new appliances as our station goes over the border to West Berkshire

North Yorkshire is down to 3 crew on smaller pumps called Tactical Response Vehicles, replacing full-size engines.

@@momus9775 Seen whole time stations in North Yorks tip out with 3 of late, and stations be closed for the day due to lack of crew, Acomb and York being just 2

Most rescue pumps in Hampshire haven't deployed with 6 person crews in years the requirement is a minimum of 4 and your be lucky if you get 5 especially at retained stations

Be good if Portchester 28 got one of these. It be good for ports down hill plus Southwick, boarhunt and wicor wreck it be nice and easy to get through when on a fire call or a rtc.

@@jackshit3355 every fire station has a number in Hampshire. So the numbers on the fire engines shows where the fire engine comes from I.e Cosham is 23 fareham is 17 portchester is 28. I hope iv explained it right.

@@jackshit3355 they might of looked at the us fire services and saw there where using numbers and took the idea. I know the UK and USA airports use numbers on their fire crash tenders.

@@staffsemergresp Not heard much good about them, the main issues seem to be electronics, don't get me wrong they look far better than most other appliances but these are emergency service vehicles that need reliability. I know a few years back they used electronic scales to show how much water was in the tank, but they proved to be unreliable and were replaced by a tube and a ping pong ball it!
