​@@JTsJourneys Maybe... I know that there is a daily direct HUY-ABZ flight that is bookable at a high sum of money for just one way. I have seen the Teeside to Humberside flights - and returns - in the air as I live on the flightpath after all, but from what I can make out they seem to be used as training flights or merely to keep the currency for pilots. They did used to run the service, so I think perhaps its also a handy way of keeping the slots.

Another brilliant one Jamie! Great overview of Teesside, although I think I have to agree with your point about how crowded it could get with a couple of fully-loaded 737s about to depart. It looks clean, fresh and comfortable, but I couldn't help thinking that it reminded me of a conference centre, or a large community medical centre (if you removed the shops and bars 😄). I've never flown Loganair, or on an ERJ, both looked pretty decent. I think the lopsided nature of the ERJ would take a bit of getting used to for me. That's one smart uniform Loganair have got there though! As always, looking forward to the next one. 👍 P.S. Not sure how my comment ended up down here as a reply to another, I'm sure I typed it at the top level! Oh well. 🤷‍♂️

It was an SAS 737, that & the Fiji airways 737 you can see the tail poking out of the hanger behind the SAS aircraft, were both at teesside for dismantling with Wilis Asset management

@@JTsJourneysthe trouble is this airport is costing the local tax payers a quarter of a million £ a week to stay open, it's losses are huge, and not getting any better, they have lost routes in the last year, the question is can they do better next year, the airport can't simply go on loosing 12 million every year, one newspaper article said the council was effectively paying every passenger £820 to come through the door, sobering thought

It does seem a bit unnecessary given the proximity to Newcastle which already has an established set of domestic and international connections. (and Manchester too?) More of a vanity project? If it looses so much it's hard to see a future
