Dad was on Chaparrals in his time in. The curved portion of the turret in front of where the gunner sits is supposed to be plexiglass, the thing holds 12 Sidewinders, (4 on the launcher, 8 in the bed) and is indeed goofy with the cab down.

@@piscessoedroen The crew unfolds a set of blast shields mounted to the cab before firing. All crew asides the gunner dismount and act as observers. When all four missiles are off the rails, the crew moves to reload or relocate. Ironically enough, they nearly always died to air due to lack of radar, but became a burden to opposing infantry because the M48 has a thermal imager and wherever one Chap is, there's two more Chaps and three Vulcans with it because they run around in batteries of six vehicles, 50/50 split.

the US helio that you first tried out is the Bell OH-58 Kiowa, observation, utility, and direct fire support. These guys usually travel with Apaches or Vipers enable them to do long range or out of sight missile strikes if there is heavy aa or sams in the area. All the Kiowa has to do is peak with the orb above a hill top and lock on for the attack copters. These copters have been around since 1966. This model that Gaijin is using is the OH-58D Kiowa Warrior.

the curved bars on the front of the american SPAA is the roof canopy frame to cover the back, and i would assume front of the vehicle in rainy travel conditions or when you dont want someone to know your convoy has rockets

Texas is a Super-Dreadnought type battleship. Generally speaking, super-dreadnoughts avoided wing turrets, carrying guns in the centerline with super-firing turrets. Arkansas, Marat and Nassau are just Dreadnought type battleships.

when it comes to modern jets its mostly all about the internal parts, hud, computing, data link, Tpods it can carry, cockpit, HMD capability and weapons it can carry. you'll rarely see external changes between aircraft variants. YES im AWARE of the F15C, D, E, twin cockpits, the F18 super hornet and the B variant of most aircraft, I'm talking about the F16 blocks, F15 suites and f18 lots

Bruv just gonna not show the PT-808 for post war Japan WHY!!!... it gets Mousetraps on a decent vessel.. Sidenote, The ship Drache (Dragon), Somehow I forgot about this ship until the update as I do remember reading about it but. The Drache started life as a Yugoslavian minelayer Zmaj which was built in Germany and likely would've carried more mines but was captured by Germany and modified with more armament as seen with the aft cannon over the mine rails. This may interest you more Haigs but the vessel in German service was an Aircraft Recovery vessel and saw service with the Flettner Fl 282 Kolibri (Hummingbird) the first mass produced helicopter.

The uss texas story was in korean war the north shot artillery at texas and texas flooded the half and destroyed the moutain and artillery

Texas was never in Korea. The story is that during the days after D-Day Texas was providing naval gunfire support and the germans knew that so they started massing for an assault just beyond the range of her guns, upon being relayed that info by spotters, the captain then ordered the anti-torpedo bulge on the opposite side to be flooded giving the ship a slight list and that gave the guns the few degrees more of elevation they needed to hit the germans. The battery story is from USS Wisconsin in the Korean war, where a NKPA artillery battery hit the ship while they were also providing naval gunfire support, this hit a 40mm bofors AA gun battery wounding several sailors, so Wisconsin replied with her full nine 16in gun broadside, annihilating the NK artillery and the hill top they were on, to this display one of Wisconsin's escorts flashed her "TEMPER TEMPER"

The F-16D-40 is kinda neat. I used to hate two-seat F-16s, but the avionics spine actually makes it look fairly decent. Only way to make it better is with conformal fuel tanks, though I'll have to wait for the F-16I Sufa for that (basically just an F-16D-52, so worse engine but even better avionics). Also, it might get Python IVs in the future. Edit: only Israeli Viper to use AMRAAMs was the Sufa, so oof

I appreciate smaller nations being in the game, but italy could've gotten so many of their own cold war and WWII AA vehicles instead of soviet copy paste and instead of the Gvozdika the Palmaria could've been added. The actually Hungarian vehicles are more than welcome though, those are cool
