OMG, I’m so glad you’ve finally learned not to spread yourself so thin!! Your best work is one project at a time, so getting a smaller workshop will definitely help you FOCUS!! 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

Never call the Mercedes a mistake - years from now you’ll look back and know it was a wealth of experience that would have otherwise cost much more in time and money to obtain. Tough yes, mistake no. Looking forward to seeing you put the training into use in the new shop! Congrats!

This is a great update that was super helpful for me. Knowing kind of where you're going and what your intent is helps focus your energy in the right direction. Doing several projects and experiencing different environments tells you a lot about what you like and don't like. Sometimes, it just takes a while to get there. Looking forward to your next episode!

Hey. Please, could you share some tips on where I can start learning to do what you're doing? I'm in my early 30s, suffering from OCD, being a huge car geek who owns an old S123 wagon that needs a lot of work. I would love to be able to do at least minor restorations myself. It's just that my hands are not growing from the right place, if you know what I mean lol. Please share some advice on where to start 😊.

Man I've been watching you since the beginning and one thing that has REFUSED to fail are those vans you have 🤣🤣🤣 like, Christ. Those shoes have seen and done it all. I'm sure you had em before restore it. You can't throw em away. You'd have to have them in the same glass capsule Batman keeps his uniforms in. 🤣

For what it's worth, I actually liked the previous workshop that you were in. I can understand your reasoning, you've gotta do what works best for you. It's too bad you couldn't maybe sublet some of the space out to someone who wanted to do some of their own work, like maybe a short-term space rental thing for people who like working on their own cars, but don't have the space for it in their driveways.

Re: Spray booth… For a Industrial environment, the open booth with water walls is great. They catch overspray and transport it under the floor. So far, so good. For powder coating, they are not really needed, because you can collect the overspray with a good shop vac easyly. Spraying cars is a different story. Yes, the water walls can catch the overspray. But a open booth? I think, you will regret it. The closed booth is primary build, to prevent dirt, dust, and insects from the environment ruining the paint job. I can not see, how a water wall in a open booth could do that. And i have seen to much otherwise good paint jobs ruined by dirt. And, of course, the legs of flies after the final polishing…
