I've never heard of night hikes. That sounds like so much fun! I'm guessing nothing like that would ever fly here in the US unless it was done in a national park or something.

Podcast anniversary cake...brilliant!! Love the idea of a night hike. As a teenager (1970's) I used to do orienteering (daytime!) with a map and a compass. It would be a riot at night. Although here in Canada, we don't have the footpaths through private property.
