That design is so flawless, they went to aluminum and came back to the fundamentals with glass and steel, this design was ahead of it’s time.

I used a 4s at the start of the year, as my main phone stopped booting. The 3G network has been shutdown at my location, but it was able to use 2G, which has not been shutdown yet.

Der Einschaltknopf oben an der Schmalseite - die ergonomisch, beste Lösung! Warum Apple danach den gleichen Mist gemacht hat wie alle anderen Hersteller auch und den Einschaltknopf an die Längsseite platziert hat, ist mir heute noch ein Rätsel. :-( 3:49

Probably because the iPhone 6 and 6 plus had their size increased quite a lot, which could make it harder to press if it was on the top.

Ich habe auch bei dem iPhone 4 den Einschaltknopf immer mit der linken Hand betätigt. Es geht mir lediglich darum, dass man die rechte Seite des iPhones frei hat und nicht befürchten muss, versehentlich auf den Einschaltknopf zu drücken.

@@mousequeen7220 und btw. Hatten die alten iPads den Einschaltknopf auch oben an der Schmalseite. An der Größe alleine kann es also nicht liegen.

@@menschomat That is true, I have an iPad 2. But I actually think that even the newest iPads have it like that, though I don't know why. Maybe because the way you use your phone is different from the the way you use an iPad? As you probably won't be holding it the same way as a phone. But I do think a power button on top would be nice. There is the thing that almost all modern phones look very similar, and a power button on top would definitely be something different. Maybe they could have done it only on the smaller iPhones, so people won't complain.
