From "The Office": an American television mockumentary sitcom broadcast on NBC. Created as an adaptation by Greg Daniels of the British series of the same name, it is a mockumentary that follows the day-to-day lives of the employees of the Scranton, Pennsylvania branch of Dunder Mifflin, a fictional paper supply company. I think one of the most iconic scenes is missing. When Michael visited Pam at her art show and was genuinely blown away by her painting while no one else came. I think that for me was the most heartwarming scene in the whole show and set the tone for the relationship between Michael and Pam. And the part in the last episode when Andy said "I wish there was a way to know you're in the good old days before you've actually left them” - that hit me hard at that time. The last one maybe not oscar deserving, but a life changing quote for me at least.

I recently watched that episode. Some people did indeed go but those that saw her paintings all said something negative or rude about them which made it a special moment when Michael visited and didn't say somthing rude like he normally would.

Three scenes are missing. First- When Michael proposes Holly with the candles in the break out room Second- When Jim and Michael acknowledge the final goodbye just through the eyes. Third- When Michael is at the airport and Pam comes running and hugs him.

Also, when all the actors sing 9,986,000 Minutes to Michael in the goodbye episode. And it's even more moving when you know that Steve Carell didn't know they were going to sing it and it was actually for him leaving the show that they did it. Those tears were real.

That Pam scene with the coal walk honestly felt like such a big moment. The character development alone was great but ultimately this show is about showcasing the joy from the ordinary and as much as those important scenes mean for the show, Pam just letting out what she'd been feeling for ages is so relatable and even made me feel like there was a weight off my chest. I really do love that scene :)

I would say also this scene was able to get back at all the pam haters who said she wasted jims time etc and she wasnt such a great match for him … i mean she threw away her ego and confessed in front of the entire office, its not easy esp coming from a person with characteristics as pam , huge growth there and also the only persons time she was wasting the entire time while holding back her feelings for jim was her own time as jim could have chosen to walk away which he did eventually and he turned around as his heart only has pam and whats meant to be for you will never pass you. Imo this is a great love story of faith patience and courage.

I will go to my grave saying The OFFICE has no equal in depicting the combination of raw human emotion and humor at a level not reached by any other tv show or movie. It is because we are basically looking back at our own lives and our personalities as we watch from afar these almost real characters! The writers and actors deserve all the credit in the world. These scenes are only the tip of the iceberg of great moments on this show! Steve Rainn Jenna and Jim and co. have no equal!!!!

This compilation focused on some of the more serious moments from the show and I agree they deserve to be honored. That being said, I think there's a funny episode with a segment that is hard to beat for the humor. It was the Christmas gift exchange when Michael ignored the $10 limit that the others agreed to and bought a $400 computer item as his gift and then felt gravely cheated when he received an oven mitt that Phyllis had created. (I'll never forget his reaction to that!) It was the same segment in which the wrong person got the tea pot with the love note and cassette tape that was meant for Pam.

The lunch metaphor with Jim and Michael is the only scene that ever made me cry in this show. And I’d say it’s one of the only times I have during shows and movies.
