Oh, nooo, I ordered the peptides eye serum 2 days ago… 😢 maybe I will return it without even trying. I wanted to introduce peptides to my eye skin care routine. Would there be any other product you would recommend using instead? Thank you 💐

Would the Aloe & NAG serum be a good alternative to the vit C 8% & Alpha Arbutin 2% serum? That one made my face break out in red patches.

I think it depends on why you were using the vitamin C & arbutin serum, and what else you use. If you were wanting to use it for antioxidant benefits, I think there is better out there. As for if you're using it for hyperpigmentation, this would definitely be a good alternative since you can't use the vitamin C & arbutin serum. The problem with the Aloe & NAG serum though, is it can't be used in the same routine as strong antioxidants (vitamin C, resveratrol and ferulic acid) or AHA (glycolic, lactic) and BHA (salicylic acid). Meaning if you use these things, you would want to use the Aloe & NAG on a different day, or in the morning if you use those at night. Now I will say you can take the above advice with a grain of salt if you'd like. They claim the reasoning for needing to separate this from those ingredients is because of a peptide in the Aloe + NAG, but most peptides nowadays can be used in the same routine as those ingredients. (The reasoning for this in the first place is the conflicting ingredients might need a lower pH to work on the skin, but most skincare products are formulated in such a way that they don't need a lower pH to work anymore, and even if you use one that does, you can just use a hydrating serum or toner right after those ingredients to make sure your pH is back to normal.)
