Oriental brothers make me cry in reflection of Biafra War. It shall never be well with Gowon and Britain for the killing of Innocent children and pregnant women. May all that were involved in Biafra war never see peace just as Gowon is currently. Go bless oriental brothers in all their efforts to put hope in the heart of Biafrans at the heat of War and after.

Oh Warrior i love you. I love oriental brothers. I have tears in my eyes as i listen to this music. It is both tears of joy and of sorrow. We have lost one of our best in this world and that was Dr. sir. Obinna Warrior.

Dr. Sir Warrior in his prime!. Very young Warrior and Dansach. I could see Alloy Anyanwu with his Afro hair. Wow, This world has no meaning, Some of these talents are gone for life, I don't know and I cant tell why Sir Warrior kids didn't get their fathers golden voice. I miss that mans voice a lot, and we don't have a replacement of Sir warriors voice yet, but I believe that one day it may imarge from somewhere. May the already departed souls from the band, rest in the lord, Amen!

Alloy Anyanwu later left the band, along with Tony Awoma. His son is a musician.

Oriental brothers, were the one of the best that come out from the eastern part of Nigeria, although osita osadebe was also there too. But they were almost the favourite from the eastern part of Nigeria. Just as time life, then HIGH life was just all then, no HIGH life no music

Oronbaba, you are wrong about the date of this video. By January 1980, Warrior and Dan Satch had parted ways and Aloy Anyanwu had left the band two years earlier, after 'Nwanne Awu Enyi' was released in 1978. This video was must have been recorded in 1978.
@oronbaba5 жыл бұрын
That's possible. I posted this video over a decade ago, when I didn't have that much knowledge and was just getting into researching these things. The clip was actually extracted from a larger documentary that was released around 1982 and a lot of the material therein was from around 1979/80. But obviously some other material, such as the Orientals segment, was shot earlier. I'll make the correction.
@marvisnwokocha67723 жыл бұрын
The video must have been recorded about 1978 because the album 'Ibezimako' was released about April 1978 while 'Nwanne Awu Enyi' was released about December of the same year,1978.

I would pay anything to get the full video,it's obvious the BBC'S are the owners of this clip, would it be possible to seek their permission.

Warrior and Dan satch, did obi nwanne in 1980, before the band was split. They then came together for joint appearances.

This shows how Nigerians partied and drank freely in the North then. No religious fracas, no boko haram, you traveled and lived in the North and elsewhere in Nigeria freely without fear. Now, it's terrible.
