It's Beyond Meat that has made my transition possible to veganism:) love the products!

I like beyond meat products, especially the mild sausage. My only complaint is why is it so expensive? The first beyond burger i had, it smelled, cooked & tasted so much like meat that i had a moment when i thought i was being had, that's how good it is. Please bring the price down as taste good is only part of the equation, one has to be able to afford it as well if you're going to eat it as often as you would a traditional meat burger. As a vegetarian i would like to buy more of your products & consume them more regularly. Thankyou eh!!

Two reasons. Economies of scale and the cost of research to develop the product. As Beyond Meat products get more popular, the price will come down because they can buy in larger volume, etc.

@Wick I live frugally on a fixed income. I eat mostly whole plant foods, which are not only cheaper, but better for my health and longevity than processed food like faux meat. I do eat it as a treat, but it isn't a big part of my budget. I watch for sales and freeze it. I would love to see the price drop ASAP, not to allow me to buy more of it, but because it would hasten the end of animal agriculture.

@Wick What nutrients do you think they are low in? Not protein! They are about the same as the equivalent amount of animal flesh.
@someguy21352 жыл бұрын
@Wick I agree, but want to point out that meat is also lacking in antioxidants. It does have B12. The heme iron in red meat is one reason it is a probable carcinogen.

We are going to need to buy in stock because plant base has saved my life. It truly saved my life.

The sales alone from the Chinese beyond pork is going to blow this thing up. There is a pork shortage in China and China is the number 1 consumer of pork and now beyond meat has found a better and get this cheaper alternative to pork. It’s going to sky rocket oh and McDonald’s Mc plant is coming out. The world can meet food demands for the population. If something can be made cheaper and save on energy and resources that will be the future. I bought in last week. Good luck 😉

As a vegetarian I eat these burgers and they are a big part of my diet now. I am a bit concerned about the chemicals used in the processing. Is anyone else concerned on here?
@ahmedhashmi35843 жыл бұрын
M Casey yes, and there is a ton of salt and potassium in em...I hope they can change it a bit in terms of chemicals and loads of salt and potassium
@Casey355163 жыл бұрын
@@ahmedhashmi3584 Salt I don't mind so much because I can cut back in other areas, but I would like to hear more opinions on the chemicals. Thanks.

Just check the ingredients on the package. They are all listed. Unlike buying animal parts at the butcher counter. They don't list added hormones, antibiotics, heme iron, IGF-1, cholesterol, trans fats, etc.
@Casey355163 жыл бұрын
@@someguy2135 There are chemicals that are not listed. Food additives.
