My Green Pans are 10 years old and still work flawlessly. The 8" pan is used daily and I would put it up against any non-stick upstart. Mine are the Paris Range, with anodized aluminum body. My guess is, someone in my family will inherit these pans as they will be around long after I am gone.

I still have the first run of the Greenpan. And it’s still extremely nonstick. I never used dish soap at all. I just washed it in hot water and only used paper towels or wash rag.

Feels magically premium. I shall use only non-metal tools at first. I am almost in love with it ^^ Doesn't stick at all

I have been using my stainless steel pots and pans and after watching this video I am ordering these and picking up tomorrow. I am so done spending hours on cleaning them.

I used it once at a friends place to cook steak. At first I dismissed it. There was some burnt shit stuck to it after the steak. When I washed it I was amazed at how easy it is to wash everything off. I thought it would take 5 min of scrubbing

I think how it will use over time also depends on how well you maintain the pan

How has the pan held up? Is it still working like day one? Ceramic coating holding up well? Thanks for your feedback!
@ErikAsquith6 жыл бұрын
It's held up fairly well. The ceramic coating already has a few nicks in it which seem to appear to matter how careful we are when using and cleaning them. Unfortunately you need to use a decent amount of oil to coat the entire surface of the pan or things will stick where the oil did not coat. I also found the non-stick works best when you don't move what you are cooking around. For example when cooking scrambled eggs they are much more likely to stick since you keep moving them around and I assume the oil is getting mixed in and removed from the surface of the pan. The pans are good, but not great.

Hi Eric, same question again after 2 years :) are there any issues yet? I have read a couple of negative reviews saying that after only a few uses or at least few months it's not non stick anymore and that the quality is bad etc.

I bought it last week... Shall throw away the older pans...
@CSAFMedia3 жыл бұрын
It's been 4 years, have they held up? Would you buy another set today, or consider something else?
@ErikAsquith3 жыл бұрын
Unfortunately I cannot recommend the “Green Pan”. The nonstick finish does not hold up well for long, and its also not very durable. However, I do prefer and recommend the J.A. Henckels International Granitium nonstick pans - build quality, durability, and nonstick performance are all quite good. They cost a bit more, but well worth it.

Why is the bottom on the pan not flat? I'm curious how well the pans are doing now, because I'm reading other reviews and people are saying they worked great at first but then food started sticking to them. And do they work on an induction cooktop?
@Resist47 жыл бұрын
After looking it up I see now why the pan is dotted, makes sense. Just picked these up from Costco and discovered this model of GreenPan is not induction ready, but GreenPan does make others that are.
@ErikAsquith7 жыл бұрын
Dan what did you find out about the little dimples in the bottom of the pans? Also, did you pick them up while Costco was offering the $8 off coupon? That coupon really made theses pans attractive.
@Resist47 жыл бұрын
Yes, I got them during the Costco sale. The dimples are so oil will evenly cook the food. However, GreenPan does make totally flat bottomed pans specifically for eggs and pancakes. I cooked eggs in my dimpled pan and it worked great. We should be using a healthy oil in our cooking pans, like coconut oil or olive oil, anyway. I'm now interested in buying more GreenPans, hopefully my local Costco will have a full set soon.
@Resist46 жыл бұрын
Naughtysauce, you are incorrect about the dimples. The manufacture told me they are there for oil, to evenly cook food. They also make smooth bottom pans.
@Resist46 жыл бұрын
Suggesting an incorrect theory about a product, doesn't make it right. Especially when the manufacture already said why the dimples are there. Besides, as I said they also have non dimpled pans, that are still nonstick.

My old 8 inch first green pan 2016 with the green handle sucks it's very sticky the eggs and but maybe cause I didn't how to use it proplery. My new 8 inch lasted 6 months, still no scratch no wear and nicks :) still the eggs is still require to use a spatula to flip. BTW I haven't use oil since then

Had my green pan for close to 6 months now. I've only used it for eggs. It was non-stick for awhile but now it's non-stick at all. Eggs completely stick to the bottom and I have to soak and scrub it with a pad now. Any other time I only used a soft sponge. Very disappointed.
@ErikAsquith3 жыл бұрын
Yeah, I am not a fan of the green pan either. It has not held up well and the non-stick finish does not remain non-stick for long at all. However, we do like our J.A. Henckels Capri Granitium Nonstick pans - these are holding up quite well and it's been over a year.

Does it still work fine?
@ErikAsquith6 жыл бұрын
pack02 prime the smaller of the two pans started to lose its non-stick properties (this is the one we use more frequently). We wash them with dawn dish soap and a sponge, which is what the instructions say. The non-stick finish do any appear to hold up well over time.

these pans with the divots on the bottom suck. they collect gunk and its a pain to wash. don't get these.

Worst pan I've ever used. Might as well use stainless steel pans. The first one, my wife got for me. After about 2 ore 3 uses, everything started sticking, I told her to send it back. A year later, I found another one at goodwill that looked almost new. At the goodwill price, I thought I would give it another try. After a few uses I noticed crap sticking to it again when cooking turkey hamburger, even with olive oil. I washed it and used a paper towel and olive oil to clean all the crap off - looked good. I made some turkey hamburger for tacos and all kinds of crap stuck to it again. This time, I threw it in the trash. I don't want anyone getting their hands on such a crappy product. I found the Copper Pan to be the best pan that actually lives up to its claims. Using them now.

mine still works after 6 months and today still works BTW I never use any oil at all . no stick no wear tear and yea
