All the boys have shaved heads. In his earlier recollection of hiding the horse/unicorn, K's head is not shaved. Because they're HER memories, not his.

_If you had time_ to stop and think things out, it would have been obvious that K couldn't be that child because of his superior abilities. K as even a 8 year old he should be able to pull the arms off a adult Human, considering what his full grown strength is. That we were so engrossed that we didn't realise this, shows how immersive the film is.

What I absolutely love about this scene is how the orphanage's owner goes through three completely different personalities within two minutes. Such a small character, but the way he changes so smoothly and so convincingly really just adds to the immersion.

It reminds me of an 1990-s Blade Runner game. These characters behave like they wait for the hero to take his turn. And the hero waits for the player to click mouse buttons.

@@InconspicuousChap I've noticed this in a lot of movies, like during fights if you pay close attention you can see that everyone is waiting to take their turn in the pre-planned choreographed fight lol. You don't have to wait until 2049 to see sweatshops like this. They exist in Asia right now.
@RuleofFive
@RuleofFive 2 жыл бұрын
@IntrepidTit Did I say I was superior to Asia? Was I celebrating this fact? Most of the manufacturing happens in Asia. China is the leading manufacturer in the world. Yes of course child labor exists in other places. Asia has maybe 41 million child laborers now. These would be ages 5-14 according to UNICEF. I hate these sweat shops. These kids (no matter where they're from) should be in school learning.

@IntrepidTit this is accurate. Yet while we try to stop it (Middle East and more say okay) Asia is trying something different. Yes we utilize work in other places. We make a lot of money on it. Hell their position could be better if there wasn't rampant Capitalism. They wanna join the masses yet it's easy to factory them. Well we actually pay better. So they take the jobs. Fight your fight before your people cowered to the earning they get nowhere. Learn something before you speak nothing.

@IntrepidTit pay a living wage at home and also cap as well as tax the multi millionaire/billionaire class Higher ups. They don't deserve 100x more pay or more to do their jobs. There are caps in many countries like Japan and Ireland as well as Norway and Finland. Their CEO, CFO, and the like don't bank that amount. Our current system let's then drain all profits into off shore banks without taxation and it's legit. Rampant late stage Capitalism.

He was no longer needed in the story. The two movies were just a vehicle for an occuIt M/\onic allegory. The entire start of the original Blade Runner was occult symbolism, the eye symbolism that runs through the movie. The two uncapped pyramids represented the eyes of Horus looking at you, the left eye symbolises Destruction, Evil. The Right Eye represents Creation, Good. Who lived in the right eye Pyramid on the left of the screen? Eldon Tyrell (Elder God), the "Maker". During the sequence we see a left eye for a couple of seconds to instruct the clued in how to interpret it. The movie was about the death of the Christian God in the Fifth Age. It starts with the "replicants", who symbolise fallen angels, falling to earth unseen in a Shuttle. Unlike in the book the "replicants" are supermen. In fact we are told by Freem/\son Ridley they are "Supermen who can't fly", a good description for fallen angel characters. They then move to kill their Creator in the City of the Angels. But Tyrell didn't just create Supermen, he created two others that for reasons unexplained in the movie, as it would mess up the allegory, didn't have super powers. These two, Deckard and Rachel, represented Adam and Eve, also created by "The Maker" but devoid of superpowers. In the end we see the fallen angel Batty (The Light that burns so very brightly/Lucifer/Prometheus) freeing Deckard and Rachel who represented Man. The next movie was part of a story about the "New Race", or the / yan as the occuItists call their planned /\bomination. What they plan to turn us into using Tr/ shuman technology / E.ugenics. They didn't really get into it with this movie, but the chiId of adam and eve represents the New Race
