Well, Carson and Josh, I've been following you guys for some time now. It's amazing how you manage to always put me in a good mood! Too bad you don't come over to Germany more often. I'd love to see you live...

The more that I listen to this performance I realize that you guys have created something perfect. Perfect lyrics, perfect chord structure, perfect harmonies, perfect timbre of vocals and perfect timbre-blending of two male voices, perfect lead fills and solo, and perfect execution. This is irresistible. I have been listening to "rock/pop" music since about 1955, so I am able to recognize and surrender my resistance to the beauty and perfection of certain musical masterpieces. This is one.

I had a similar reaction. I heard it for the first time and thought I must have heard it a thousand times before. All the little elements, some expected, some not, perfectly placed to create a little pop music miracle. Josh has a marvelous technical brilliance, and his performance is really heart-felt as well, and Carson has a sort of innate ease and fluidity that makes his performances always feel authentic. They just harmonize like mad, you can hear all those years of friendship. These guys are fantastic.

I love this song, it's one of their very best originals. You don't see very much song writing of this caliber today.

Just back home from seeing them live in Portland with Reina and Toni. They played this song and it was magnificent. The sound was incredible and Carson's voice was perfect.

What I love about this video, apart from the fantastic song and its excellent execution, is the fact that it's such a sublime work of music that the audience is stunned in rapt appreciation. They probably don't know why, and that's the magical beautiful wonder of good music!

I knew why, and I was still stunned!

I love it when an audience actually appreciate what they are witness to. I wish I'd seen their faces when Josh and Carson shared that smile mid song. One of my band members always smile and they'll smile back. Yet again an excellent performance.

Wonderful. I have been spreading the word in south Florida. They should be getting a big record contract in the not too distant future.

Beautiful song and what exquisite guitar. How I’d love to see these guys if they ever approached Sweden or thereabout.

Except for a solo that goes lightyears above and beyond, this song is on par with the very best of Lennon/McCartney material. So so good!
@451563 жыл бұрын
I've been trying now for about two years to replicate that solo - or even come close to it with no success. On Josh's channel this solo was compared to George Harrison's solo on Til there was You - there is no comparison - I knocked that solo off in minutes - but Josh's solo here is way above that.
@flavadave39433 жыл бұрын
@@45156 that makes sense. But Josh’s is clearly more intricate and much longer. Blows my mind every time I hear it.

Many-many thanks for sharing Mr. Coles! Absolutely amazing performance (and sound)! God Bless this young duo (and the other two girls touring together with them). I honestly have no better words than that.
@martincol25 жыл бұрын
If you're interested in technical details, the sound quality is so good because I recorded directly from the mixing board to a digital recorder and, later, synced that sound with the video.

I thought so! Credits also to the sound guy doing a terrific job!

Beautiful song, beautiful performance. What bugs me is that camera men walk across the performance to record everything to put on KZfaq. Why not keep the performance private and special to the people that showed up for the show? It worked when I visited musical performances in bars 40 years ago...
@martincol22 жыл бұрын
50 people were in the bar. I filmed only one song. 18,000 people have enjoyed the KZfaq video. You do the math.
@hypoxiatrix93472 жыл бұрын
way to kill a whole bar in 30 seconds lol keep this for cringes in 30 years.
