Hmm… the combination of orange and vanilla is one of my favorite flavors - yet I never considered it as a tobacco topping/flavor!?! And I do love that big ol’ paneled pipe - what a beast! Take care friend!

Nice to see Thor's Hammer again, Lester. That tobacco seems to be an awful lot of work. I like experimenting with layering of different tobaccos. You get interesting flavors. Sometimes even pleasant ones! Have you had any new additions to your watch collection lately? You have a very nice selection already. Looking quite dapper, Lester! The Rattray’s I opened last night was stuffed in there as well. I too dried a bowls worth for a bit beforehand but it wasn’t goopy at all. Smoked just fine. Thanks for the review - sounds like something I would enjoy. Cheers!

Hi Lester! When you said “orange”, my interest was piqued. My favorite blend is “Jolly Old St. Nicholas” by C&D; it has an orange liqueur flavor in it that I really enjoy. They only seem to make it every few years around Christmas, though. I may give this a try!

Hola Lester, you are living next to Solothurn. What a coincidence. Since 33 years ago I was for holidays on the island of Mallorca 🏖in a hotel. There I met a Swiss pipe smoker💨 from Solothurn who smoked a fantastic tobacco, the “Solothurner Mischung ”! He had just started smoking a pipe and only one pipe - a Dunhill Country 😮 and only this wonderful tobacco. He send me during 3 years the tobacco at my home in Germany until customs found out and stopped the shipments😢. Maybe this tobacco shop has this blend?🤔 It was a natural light tobacco mybe with a light topping. The aromatic series from Rattrays is no bad. I like the London Eye it is the good "Nutty Cut" from Peterson. I have still a closed tin from the Peterson and the "London Eye" and one open tin from the "London Eye". Taste very good 👍🏻. Sounds like an interesting blend. The only orange tobacco I've tried is the Exotic Orange or as it's called now Exotic Passion. Wonder how the two would compare to one another. Thanks for sharing, take care and stay well my friend.
