Welcome to this special edition of The Pace Report live from this year's 2023 Harlem Week and Rise Up NYC Concert highlights.
August 9, 2023- August 20, 2023, Harlem, New York hosted the 49th Annual Harlem Week festivities that drew over 100,000 attendees from all over the world. People attended concerts, art festivals, health fairs, and the shops and restaurants all over Harlem.
This year's Rise Up NYC Harlem concert featured the legendary Sugarhill Gang, Mr. Cheeks of the Lost Boyz, Bobby Valentino, Brand Nubian, and Stephanie Mills. Other performances during the weekend included Jeff Redd and Ray Chew.
In this segment you'll see the official Harry Belafonte Day and Mary J. Blige Day ceremonies. Also, you'll see the debut of Mary J. Blige's new R & B group WanMor.
