Mr. Phil Perry Your voice is above and beyond BEAUTIFUL. I am seeing and hearing you for the first time ever. You and Angela’s vocals take me to a warm serene place. Just like the voice of Mr. Michel Franks, and Tina Marie. Thank you for listening to your beautiful friend Angela. With all of my ❤️ heart, she will be totally MISSED 😢. You keep being all that you can be. Because you will be that ray of light we all will need when we just need to hear great singing. Bless you. Mr. Perry

I'm going to see Bill Parker on Friday...in Houston. I saw him with the Cookers a few years ago in Albuquerque. A bunch of septuagenerians blew the doors off of the venue.

People say that Robert Johnson sold his soul to the devil. He wrote a song called “Hell hound on my trail”, I personally feel that he was not talking about the devil but racist white people.

Sounds like the Brothers Johnson? Wait a minute did they copy his style cause it’s same .. Quincy James kept this jewel under his hat . The bass the lead is very similar to the style the Brothers Johnson are famous for .kind like the Funk Brothers ? I’m learning everyday about who didn’t get the credit they deserved.. I think it's becoming more difficult as time goes on for anyone to determine with any real certainty what is or isn't "original" jazz music, or original music of any genre.

Piano class in elementary school? Never heard of anything like that. Is the idea to have all the kids play football instead, and get concussions rather than creating a legacy like Dr. Harris? I don't mean to sound negative, but this is a great opportunity to question our culture's priorities.

Christian is a little bit out of focus, leaning forward during the interview. This was my first introduction to him, as well as Mr. Pace who I really dug as music journalist, including the way he dresses (which I normally do NOT focus on). I know a lot of Jimmy Greens music, as well as Christian McBrides. I want to get to know Christian Sands now. Subscribing!
