My great grandfather remembers the day he faught in the pacific he wakes up and a japanese soldier ask him "do you speak japanese" and he wondered why the japanese soldier ask him do you speak japanese even tho the japanese soldier can speak english. He thought he was gonna die but being the main protagonist of the story saves him by plot armor and he also remember the time he takes an stg44 from the hands of the japanese he is still confused until today how the japanese get their hands on an stg44 he is 96 years old today

I don’t know why everyone bashes the “Do you speak Japanese” line, it could be that’s the only thing he knew in English, it doesn’t mean he’s fluent- I don’t think that it’s that unbelievable that some Japanese soldiers were taught a bit of English going into war.

The U.S. ARMY's 92nd (Italy, "Miracle at St. Anna") & 93rd were both black divisions. 81 divisions total, 21 of which fought in the pacific. Not to mention the separate Regimental Combat Teams & in Europe, Pacific, Mediterranean & CBI China, Burma, India theaters. my grandpa was one of the war veterans during WW2 and took part in the infamous “ Bataan Death March “ and he was an amputee bcoz of the bullet that severed his left knee💁🏻‍♀️💯 and im proud to be his grand daughter for he is one brave soldier who fought for his beloved country 💁🏻‍♀️🇵🇭👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 RIP gramps

Compared to COD WAW, doesn't this work seem to be too quiet when enemies scream when they are hit by a flamethrower? I feel that the intense audio expression is becoming less intense as the visuals have become more situated.

There was a segregated black unit that served in the western front of ww2 that saw action called the 92nd division. That would have been a heck of a campaign.

It seems unrealistic for like six soldiers going up against a ridge with maybe fifty or sixty guys inside. And also, the 93rd Infantry Division was not present at Numa Numa. Only a handful of them actually saw any combat. And they went into Bougainville in 1944, not 1943.
