I’m a South Londoner and as a teenager this programme about Paper boys in Newcastle captivated me. Great kids and great storylines.

I am from the West Midlands, and I feel similarly about this very memorable TV series, too. I have the series 1 and 2 on FVD and it is well scratched through multiple viewings. Got was my favourite character. Sam's Grandad was a a character of great depth. He should have had more involvement. Sweet kids all of them. One of my favourite programmes from my childhood in the 70s.

That was Gog was my favourite character to correct myself. Oh, and fantastic theme song to boot.

Great theme tune definitely one of those that gets stuck in the ear and you humming it for days after hearing it.
