We should store up treasures in Heaven whereby moths don't consume nor thieves break in. For where our heart is there will be our treasure.

What an outstanding sermon! This is the polar opposite from what is being preached by the health and wealth even NAR so called “preachers.” God is allowing them their storing up of goods here on earth but one providential day, their souls will be required and all they gained here will be given to someone else and their covetousness will be burned in fire. RC Sproul was a blessing from the Lord and not afraid to preach every word from scripture. He loved the holiness of God and wanted to please him like all Christian’s should want to do. His book The Holiness of God was used by the Spirit to deepen my love for God and appreciate the immensity of His holiness. Peace brothers and sisters🙏

John Calvin,as ruler of Geneva, had Michael Servetus, a Spanish physician and theologian, seized and burned alive in Oct 27, 1533. In fact John Calvin wanted him beheaded. And for what...for disagreeing with John Calvin. This is the John Calvin that RC Sproul and the rest of Calvinist are willing to look past him and espouse Calvinism or reformed theology. John Piper another Calvinist shares John Calvin’s doctrine that God is the author of all evil including the holocaust. James White is another calvinist who calls God’s evil action as “purposeful evil”. Anyone reading my comment is meant for you to read the history. RC Sproul quotes Jesus to “beware of the leaven of the pharisees” but you should beware about RC Sproul’s teachings.

It’s because it was from the pulpit at St Andrews when RC preached Sundays. It was taped but not videotaped. His teaching series were always videotaped but not his sermons behind the pulpit.🙂🙏✝️
