I have already started diagnosing and repairing my Pathephone Model 100. Time for replacing screws and repairing woodwork.

For the shellac finish of the cabinet, you can try quick single brush strokes with Denatured Alcohol. This does wonders!! Just dont go over the same spot over and over or you will remove the finish! Wait til dry and repeat if needed.

Its pronounced Pat-tay. The speed control pad hits the governor disc which the governor is missing its weights and springs. Good luck with it!

Pronounced Pat-tay for English in original French it's similar to Café. The American Pathe' company was originally a subsidiary of the earlier founded French, but by the mid-teens had grown into more of a sister company. It's a second style model 100 from about 1915-1917 pre-swivel style tonearm. You're going to have to find the connecting tube that connects the reproducer to the tonearm, plus the governor weights.

I have a Pathe Freres Model 100 phonograph. The reproducer is shot and the sound arm looks like someone rigged it up. Where can I get parts?
