I think the stun from the stun grenade should count for the death mark. As somebody that plays mostly Artificer tho I think it applying its own debuff would be interesting because all I would need is a hammer or bleed to proc and It'd trigger.

1:43 I was on stage 4. Saw a ukulele and wnt to buy it. Got it. It fell off a cliff and It landed on a small ledge so i was like hey maybe i can drop and get it and itll teleport me up. Ok so i try it. It teleports me before i make it. I barely have any health and a jelly come in right after and kills me. I just closed the game for the day hahaha

That ending was absolutely heartbreaking.

Deathmark doesn't need to apply a debuff, they need to add another green or white item that applies debuff on hit. Right now if you don't have debuffs in your kit the items that work are tri-tip (great) gasoline (meh, requires kills and the enemy to be close to eachother), chrono (the effect sucks but 100% chance by default to apply), ice band (but I mean...you would rather death mark already be applied before procing one of the highest damage items in the game right?), and shattering justice (nice effect but it is a red). Technically there is fire aspect equipment or from wake but...neither is reliable and one takes your equipment. So either give us a white or green that applies a debuff on-hit, make stun count as a debuff, or give us an equipment that applies a debuff that isn't already from another items (unless it is apply burning...why isn't there a fire equipment? Or a frost equipment for that matter? Affixes don't count) I mean I guess hellfire tincture and effigy exist but one is short range and the other is effigy so...yeah there are better equipments. Give us a damn napalm launcher already.

I’m new here and the item jumping off the cliff sound edit single-handedly earned that sub. The previous few seconds of the chest near the cliff made me think about the times my item had left me. And then it was followed immediately by that clip. The setup seemed unintentional but still beautifully done.

On the topic of Death Mark, maybe to have it be useful all the time it applies a debuff of its own. The debuff has a smallish chance to be applied for a couple seconds, and it's effect is to increase damage the marked enemy takes by 10% per debuff (including itself). This way it's always useful, though the downside is that it's kind of boring.

stacking atg only ups the total damage, I think its one of the few on hit items in the game that doesnt have proc chance go up when stacked

I had once Mithrix on Phase 4 as Captain with 4 Medkits. That phase took me like 10 minutes at least as I had 4 tonic afflictions and at one point I took all my items back while he still had 50% HP. That was fun fight.
