The first car I ever drove was my mom's brown KE 70 Liftback. It was in the parking lot at GE where my dad worked, on a weekend. I was twelve.

It amazes me the balls you have over there driving cars that nice in weather and roads that shit, people here in the northeast us get afraid to take their cars out if there's a singular cloud in the sky. That e70 is definitely my favorite one I've ever seen, its just so simple and subtlety modded.

@@juiceboxforyou Legit, so shit. I did see a USA import with RHS conversion, firewall and steering parts raided from sedan, was really well put together. But you got to be KE70 committed to go this path. It's extortion to import a car from US to AUS, especially now, AUS to USD conversion is crap. I look to New Zealand alot, they got everything, that's where I scored KE72 front end parts and CE71 diesel grille and light set up for my van. I've had my van for ~10 years now, watching your build is great inspiration! Fukn love the channel. Can't wait to see your thing all painted up and finished off! It's going to be so sik!

I don't think we got the 2 door KE70 in Australia. When I was a kid there were lots of 4 door ones. Before drifting was a thing here back in the late 90s they were a joke to have. Then when drifting became a thing ANYTHING manual and rear wheel drive sky-rocketed in price and then they became rare and cool and really expensive. In about 2004 a mate had one with rusty strut tops in the rear that he couldn't give away. Ended up scrapping it.

Still pretty cheap out your way? I see them pop up for good money out there, sadly our climate took most of them away to the scrapheap in the sky.
