Natural World: Pangolins - The World's Most Wanted Animal
The endearing pangolin is a little-known scaly mammal. Found in Africa and Asia, these shy creatures have an unfortunate tagline - they are the most poached and illegally trafficked animals in the world. Based in Namibia, conservationist Maria Diekmann rescues and rehabilitates her local pangolins. In a bid to better understand the global issues they are facing, we follow Maria to Vietnam, Thailand and China into the very heart of the crisis, where demand for pangolin products is greatest. In what turns out to be an emotional journey, Maria joins forces with a Chinese megastar to build a campaign to bring awareness to the plight of an animal most people have never even heard of.
Welcome to BBC EARTH! The world is an amazing place full of stories, beauty and natural wonder. Here you'll find 50 years worth of entertaining and thought-provoking natural history content. Dramatic, rare, and exclusive, nature doesn't get more exciting than this.

Just one of a LONG list of animals that are close to leaving this world forever. Glad more attention is being brought to them so we can help save what’s left. Great video!

I feel like if you watch how the pangolin moves you get a pretty good representation of how a Spinosaurus might’ve moved in real life, while most people seem to either think they just walked on two legs or that they just walked on all fours, whereas I think in reality they might’ve done both, just like the pangolin in this video, especially since both the Pangolin and Spinosaurus have short back legs and were pretty low to the ground, while it does primarily walk on two legs you can still see it walking on all fours sometimes.

I hope something big comes from all of this work being done to save this beautiful animal. If so it gives hope that many other animals suffering for the same reasons have a chance as well.

I really like these animals. They look prehistoric from a different planet all together. They could be straight out of a sci-fi or fantasy book.

wonderful to see a star using their public platform to shine a light on the horrors we humans inflict on animals, instead of the self serving gluttony that is unfortunately the norm in our sad society

I like seeing videos on people making a change! To many creatures are being harmed, killed & near extinction bc of Chinese medicines and old beliefs from many countries! Science has the facts, And new ways to treat illness without killing living creatures! By the way HoneyBun is adorable! We gotta change & care for our planet! This is not just our planet, but it is our only planet so we have a obligation to protect it!

Some people fail to realize that pangolin poaching is now a crime and the punishment would be a life sentence in prison plus a $10,000 - 14,000 fine.

Hi! How are you? Tomorrow is already the weekend this week. It's been raining a lot in Korea/Seoul this week. It is said to be the worst drought in 50 years. I hope it falls a lot without any major or minor damage. Gangwon-do, located in the east of Korea, has been snowing a lot since yesterday. There has been a large forest fire for 10 days since the 4th - there is regret and regret that "if it had rained or snowed before then." I wish you good health and good things both on weekends and holidays. ^O^
