I was a criminal prosecutor early in my career and the short answer to all your questions about what is permissible during a trial, is NO. A lawyer has to stand to request permission to even speak to the judge. If a lawyer tried to do any of the things you guys mentioned the judge would probably find him in contempt of court and put in jail. The Judge controls everything that happens in his court. Ignore what you see on TV and in movies.

Sebastian, I mentioned this on Facebook. I work for the Michigan DMV. Real ID requirements have been extended til May 2023. For Michigan at least. Finger print? Dude..they've got you now! Oh and here is no uniform. Somewhat business attire. We can wear sneakers all the time. Always on our feet. We have casual Fridays but sleevless sports jersey? No way. If you have a passport which is a Real ID document, you don't need a Real ID license. This goes back to 9/11 with Bushes Real ID Act. The states kept getting extentions. Then the feds said..enough. Come back to Michigan! I has tickets for last April! You guys ROCK!

I love the "F" bombs! It reminds me of when I worked as a bartender in the 70's. I gave up swearing in 1984 to work with the public as a Claims Representative for SSA. Then, I retired as a ParaEducator from a County Juvenile detention facility and had to remind the children: "please don't use the "F" word". Now that I'm retired...fuck it! Compassion, transparency, integrity and accountability for all!
