He never gave anything away except for praise on how much Harry has achieved without mentioning if he will be captain. When asked about 10 players needed for a rebuild, again nothing away. I was disappointed when Man United didn't get Conte right away when everyone supporter & board was officially "Ole Out" (RIP Gunna lol"). Just before he signed to Tottenham. I didn't think he was the true answer. But needed a respected disciplinary type of manager. And Conte was the only manager I knew at the time who had those creds... also he wanted and was ready for the job. So thought it was a shame. But am I so glad that the board did what they did... Because Ten Hag is probably the most perfect manager for this job. Way better fit than Conte could have been imo. If Man United don't start becoming great again under him.... Then I don't honestly know what to say. Might not happen this season. But bet he will be kicking alot of ass in 2-3 seasons. Got a feeling they will be top 4 this year tho... Or 5th-6th at worst. And believe they will have a great run in the Europa..and have a good chance to win it... If Man United place 5 or 6 on the table and win Europa to get back in the Champions League. That will still be great success in my eyes for Ten Hag because the other top Prem teams are just as strong or stronger than last year. City, Liverpool, Tottenham, Chelsea, & Arsenal are going to be tough. Even clubs like West Ham and Leicester too. Need to get that de Jong and Antony tho. Feel like they will be insanely beneficial to the club going into the new season. Them already playing under him breaks down the learning curve so much. So they would seamlessly go into the squad.

The fact he wants control over everything, coaching, transfers, ideas on facilities speaks volumes. He’s seems a proper manager who will not put up with bullshit. He’ll realise the rotten apples in the dressing room and address it for the good. He’ll need a couple of transfer windows to get where he wants it to be close to being a solid well playing squad. His playing style is something we’ve longed for and I honestly think we’ll get off to a flyer.

I like his style. Shuts down questions he thinks cross the line with a short sharp answer and maintains eye contact for a little longer than is comfortable to let the journalist know what’s what. Let’s hope he imposes himself on those players in a similar manner.

@Sinjin Smyth I think Roy Keane doesn't have the coaching and managing expertise that Ten Hag does, also, Keane is rather old fashioned in his approach to the playing staff, a little too brutal at times and he doesn't seem to have that close chemistry that's needed in modern day football management

Watch the whole video and then think about who was in charge in that room? Who did others naturally defer too? Even the press were nervous of Eric. Fantastic. He is like a cross between Sir Alex and Roy Keane. Just what we need at Old Trafford. Finally we have the manager we need. It's going to be a rough ride for a two or three years but those left will be fit to wear the shirt.
