Do you have any explanation video why a polarizer cuts the intensity of depolarized light to half? If you expect depolarized light to have all random polarization directions, should a single polarizer cut it in half? (I know that it does, but I wanted an explanation why)

@@yoprofmatt Thanks, you too. It was a good day. I just figured out some code for finding a maximum for a kinematic parabola. Easy enough, but never tried doing it numerically. Way kewl seeing it work, even though it's just a parabola with a peak marked on it, lol. 😄
