We're excited to announce the launch of the PrimaLuna Power Tube Program. Beginning today, October 13th, 2023, customers who order a compatible, select PrimaLuna power amp or integrated amplifier can choose to add to their order, at a discounted price, a set of cryogenically treated KT120 or KT150 power tubes. Tube rolling has always been fun, and we just made it a little easier!

I’ve got the Evo 100 integrated, have tried a few different tubes, NOS Mullards, KT88’s and some different flavored EL34s. This amp was the best deal I’ve found to date, it shoots well above its price point and is rock solid.

I have a Primaluna preamp and amp (came with Prima EL34s). I also have 4 KT120s. Tried swapping them out for a month. I ended up going to Gold Lion ELs and it's the best sound of the bunch. Swapped the Prima AX7's for Bugle Boy (Holland) AU7's and the sound became transparent. For me this is the holy grail of tube selections in these amps.

I'm extremely interested in a black PrimaLuna Prolouge Classic cd player. I didn't even know it existed til I was browsing the Upscale Audio site last night, but now I'm convinced it needs to be in my life.

I pair 2x EVO 300 power amps as mono blocks, using stock EL34, with my La Scalas. I love what I am hearing out of this system. Back when I had a single amp, I would switch back and forth between EL34 and KT150. Looking forward to hearing my system with 2 sets of KT150s.

VAC Avatar SE Integrated amp 23 years old I took all 11 tubes out after 18 years when one preamp tube went bad. Put all new Mullards in for the last 5 years. One year ago I drove the amp to VAC in Sarasota so Kevin Hays' boys could check on it and then it had to pass his listening test. There wasn't anything wrong with the amp. He said I'm good for another 23 years. I don't have any experience tube rolling but trying to learn although it sounds great. Would like a little more gain for my high output Blackbird MC cartridge. 37 db gain.4 main power tubes are el 34. 27 watts triode or 60 ultralinear. I prefer triode now that I have REL S/510 sub. Better midrange 90 % as loud. Have fun!!! 😊

I wanted to buy KT120s but your web site restricted sales to Prima Luna buyers. Why?

Yeah sorry. I try to give the lowest price I can while giving better quality, and I have to support PrimaLuna amp owners because they should expect that from us. As you can see, we were selling them for $99.95 each while Tube Depot and Tubestore were $119.95 and $129.95. I took off the restrictions but had to raise the price to $119.95. Otherwise we would be cleaned out.

Kevin, I just bought my second PL amp and love it. But when I call to buy a couple backup PL tubes youse guys still plead scarcity and give me a hassle. Almost three years later. And it's annoying.

They have been in stock for some time and are add to cart. You are most welcome to place an order. During the supply chain problems that everyone went through, we had people trying to buy 10, 20, 34 of ANYTHING because of toilet paper hysteria. We needed to keep there for people that really needed them to keep their products going. I made a video telling people to cool out, but they didn't listen. So we put limits on all power tubes. That's all over now.
