Frequently Asked Questions/Comments: Where was this first shown? A: Quibi, in 9 parts. That's why its filmed in this format. Why is the quality so bad? A: I tried to record off my phone, but got the black screen of death. Then tried to capture it on my computer, but Quibi app would not work on my computer. So I had to go old school and set up a tripod, speakers, and record in a dark room. I know it's bad, but it was the best I could do at the moment. KZfaq will take this down due to copywrite, right? A: I don't know. It's still up. Quibi owned the rights to the "home movie" version, now that Quibi has gone under, copywrite is in question. Why is this video not getting a lot of views? A: I don't know. I'm not a monetized KZfaqr. I don't plan to be. I'm not sure how KZfaq algorithms work. Ask me any questions, and I'll do my best to answer.

For real. There's an openness and humility to this... plus it's fun. Rather than dressing up self-aggrandizement as service (like 'Imagine'), we can all share a laugh at stars in silly, discount halloween costumes putting on a classic show for everybody. What a swell bunch of folks. P.S. Plus I love seeing Bardem, Serkis, Malkovich, Cruz, and Pascal fooling around. Heh

Someone needs to make a list. I didn't know all of them, but was that Malkovich as the impressive clergyman? Chris Pine? Andy Serkis? I think Sarah Silverman played Peter Falk in there. Mackenzie Davis, Common, Shaq?, obviously Carl and Rob Reiner, Diego Luna, Rainn Wilson, jeez, I need to watch it again and write more down. They did the NOT TO FIFTY! line twice, which was wrong. They missed the I"M ON THE BRUTE SQUAD, YOU ARE THE BRUTE SQUAD moment. They took a little shortcut in both the fireswamp and the pit of despair, but that was AMAZING. Oh yeah, they missed Humperdink's 2nd I KNEW HE WAS... BLUFFING after Inigo pointed his sword at him. This was amazing. If it had a theatrical release I would have paid to see it, especially if the money went to charity.

Rainn as Vizzini, Segel as Fezzik and Pedro as Inigo are so ridiculously perfect. And then there's Jack Black with a lightsaber crawling up cement stairs. Elijah as Humperdink and Serkis as Tyrone are also great. On top of that, Cary Elwes returns to talk with Paul Rudd in the worst wig possible? It just keeps improving.

I wish I could better express my feelings for this work. I watched it in 2023, and it reminded me of one of the few good things during COVID: the incredible creativity and the ingenious ways people found to collaborate virtually. It will always be a reminder of a time we were all stuck at home and how we dealt with it. I love all the little crazy ways the actors deal with not having proper props and costumes (note how Javier Bardem’s sword keeps changing from duster, to tennis racket, to a spoon, etc.). It’s also the most loving ode to The Princess Bride. The last episode was touching enough with Cary Elwes as Humperdinck, but I was in tears seeing Carl and Rob Reiner - THAT was too beautiful for words. ❤❤❤
