Chains are easily concealable, anyways; weapons can very effectively be hidden in a backpack or under clothes. It would be quicker to have keys pre-chained in a pocket. Shoe laces can also be tied to keys, too. "Chains" (necklaces) are sometimes allowed around the necks of students and teachers, but not often.

I went to Wills Point until I was in the fourth grade before they had ANY dress code. I wore a shirt of a wrestler named Sting he was a really popular wrestler at that time and my teacher Ms.Chitty thought i was wearing a shirt of Marilyn Manson and she sent me to the principles office. The principle was about to paddle me and called up my father for permission, my father showed up to the school with the SAME shirt and they felt so embarrassed. I also have muscular dystrophy and since I was unable to participate in PE in the morning I was not allowed to play at recess with my friends. I had to sit by myself or else i would get in trouble if I tried to interact with my friends. I then started to lose friends because they thought I was weird to hang around with. There are plenty of other stories i could tell but that is just a few. Wills Point completely abused me as a child and ruined a big part of my childhood. I liked going to school until I started to get picked on because of my muscular condition and they did nothing about it but make me feel like a complete loner and a nobody.
