I was struck by this film. It's difficult to find a good version and therein lies some pretty poor reviews. 10% on Rotten Tomatoes. 3/10, so on... This was a movie of confronting whats left in life once you've reached its end and trying to make the best of it. Simple premise, wonderfully executed. Ignore the poor reviews and watch it yourself. A wonderful movie.

Have you seen him in interviews recently? I think he's lost so many brain cells and lowered cognitive functions, after years of being a heavily self-medicating alcoholic. He is constantly slurring his speech, talks with that slow drawl and always seems to be searching for words when he speaks in real life. Prescription medications, opioids, cocaine, AND alcohol abuse over the years, has not done himself any favors in terms of health, but at least he is able to get paying jobs that works with it. All I was left with, was crippling depression and uncontrollable debt.

I just finished watching this movie. It was absolutely amazing. Johnny Depp’s performance was so moving, emotionally. He did an outstanding job. I knew he still had it in him. He never lost it. This film should’ve been released in theaters.

watched this yesterday, really enjoyed crying my eyes out watching it. the end scene left a lot to be desired, but I guess they couldn't think of a good way to end it, otherwise really great movie, very touching and heartfelt

In my opinion it was the integrity of the character, he never chose option A or B, he wanted to do things his owm way until the end

Cy Vieira good thing they never managed to find evidence of him abusing his wife and all of it was false and later found out that it’s the wife was actually beating him or this movie will get even more delayed.

I just can't wait to finally see it! Johnny's acting is priceless and this mix of comedy and drama looks so damn good. I knew the movie would rock already before it was out but now I'm 200 % sure. The cast is just perfect. And omfg the last scene I just can't 👌😂 And 01:48 made me think of Johnny's laugh in Black Mass. 🙈 I'm just so hyped.
