I truly thought was just gone be able to squeeze under the 5 minute mark but I did not. and I know I can I also know me being little bit heavier did not aid to this specially with the majority of the muscle being in my legs lol.

You could get a compression band or a stool and support your weight if you can't do a full one yet. If you can do a full on, and you have a bar, just do as many as you can every time you walk past it

Technically you didn't do all pull-ups. Half were chin ups which is not a pull up. Different muscle group.

Since pull-ups (palms away) are typically a bit more difficult, mixing it up is a good way to start until you can get that strength developed. My technique is to focus on less reps, if necessary, _and_ put a premium of good form over speed. The strength will come, chance for injury lessened and the time aspect will resolve itself.
