It’s heavy duty stuff and it’s complicated!! I watched videos on the predictions of the date of the rapture. Everything they said made sense and I love math and statistics and I was completely in agreement. And then it didn’t happen and we don’t have another date that looks like it would be “the date.” I think we have to take everything that is prophecies as a “good working theory.” And when more information is available we can update our thoughts on these various topics. Thank God for Michael Door and his dedication to the Bible. It’s complicated there’s no way I could do this by myself.

Yes, I agree with that. Also the gog and magog thing does not speak about the antichrist, false prophet, the beast system, the 7 year treaty or stopping the sacrifices in the 3rd temple. So it all has to refer to about 3,000+ AD.

He got the rapture timing seriously wrong though. Jesus taught a post-trib rapture (Matt 24:29). If Jesus says he is coming after the trib to gather his elect, then he is coming after not before. What Michael needs to understand is just like there is a difference between grace and mercy, there is a difference between tribulation and wrath. The bible tells we are not appointed to wrath, but we do go through tribulation ( John 16:33 / acts 14:20) etc. there is no scripture teaching we escape tribulation, quite the opposite actually. We go through the tribulation but escape God's coming wrath. I,e, it is a post trib pre-wrath rapture.

@@2027Judah - The Bible states that the Body of Christ is in Heaven during the Tribulation... but there are those that get saved during the Tribulation that are the elect.

Show me where in the Bible the body of Christ is in heaven before the tribulation. Because when the fifth seal is broken it describes believers in Jesus are being killed for their faith, this proves his church is on earth still during the tribulation. 3. Matt 24:29 has Jesus making it clear that he is coming AFTER the tribulation to rapture the church, but you're claiming he comes before. So who is lying to me, you or Jesus?

My daughter had to go on food stamps recently. Her husband is a pastor. They have to renters.. My son in law picks up side speaking at conferences etc as often as possible. There church is about 300 people. Don’t make such blanket statements.

I think he went off the deep end on this one. Rev 20:8 is NOT a tribulation event, the text very clearly states its an event that happens at the end of the 1000 year reign. The Bible seems to state very clearly are is a Gog-Magog war BEFORE the 1000 year reign and a second one at the end of the 1000 year reign. The text and details are very clear on this point.

​@@Orange6921I just reread Rev 20 5 or 6 times after your comment. Rev 20 is hugely debated across different eschatologies. Where millennial reign is placed (some say we're in it now some say it's after the trib), the way the book seems to go back and forth, or retells the same events from different perspectives and symbolism. One of the reasons I'm studying it and learning from several teachers that have different views but that I know are solid Bible teachers. Luckily, eschatology is a secondary issue that has no bearing on salvation. With it being a prophetic work, no one knows what's right until the Lord executes His plan. Then we all get to go l, "oh hey, it was so obvious". I wouldn't call a brother in Christ off the rails for eschatology as we're all still a bit in the dark on how it's all going to play out. Maybe get his book at the end (it's not expensive) and you can see his train of thought. God bless you brother.

Yes Rev 20:8 is clear.

It's not as clear as you would think. It's been too long now but I did a study 15 years ago and the original language, one time Hebrew and another Greek, didn't mean the same thing. I don't recall any details now but it needs to be looked into as I don't think they are the same event.

@@_familyMAN I wouldn't say it's a lie or something, both the extremes of covenant/replacement theology and dispensationalism notice certain things. Covenant Theologians notice that the bible has the gentiles being where the Gospel got sent out to and that the Jews largely rejected it, so to them it makes sense that the Church replaces Israel, and to be fair, Romans 11 says we're grafted in, we're co-heirs to the promise, there is neither Jew nor Greek, etc, etc, and they'll go to Hebrews where it says the Old Covenant is passing away. Dispensationalists can see Romans 11 saying that God has not abandoned His people, and can see Revelation 7 where there's a distinct group of the tribes of Israel, and then the great multitude. Both positions set a hard line where I believe God set something more fuzzy. Yes, there are promises made to the nation of Israel specifically the land promises, but also yes, Gentiles are grafted into the Olive Tree (the root being Christ, and we the wild branches grafted in, and Israel the natural branches broken off..... but God will heal their blindness and graft them back in.. that's Romans 11). We don't replace Israel but we're also not totally separate. we have a shared destiny, and that's what Dispensationalists miss, they see 2 different destnies, actually 4 different destinies. Dispensationalists see old testament saints, church age saints, national israel during the tribulation, and tribulation saints as all having kind of different destinies. But the bible doesn't really teach a separate tribulation saint.. It just has saints, there's saints of the tribes of israel (the woman), and saints who keep the testimony of Jesus Christ, but they are both persecuted by the Dragon, and they're both ultimately delivered.

Jesus also said to the people standing right in front of him, in Matthew 16:28, “Verily I say unto you, There be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom.” Why do the vast majority of Christians believe Christ lied? Revelation 20 reveals that our history is a lie and that we are all living in Satan't little season AFTER the Millennial Kingdom. Many people lived and died before Jesus was born on earth and everyone will have the opportunity to accept or reject him.

Oh..., because it shows the verse in Rev. 20:8 (Gog and Magog) is talking about THE END OF THE MILLENNIUM - NOT the "Tribulation." " And when the thousand years are ended, Satan will be released from his prison 8 and will come out to deceive the nations that are at the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them for battle; their number is like the sand of the sea" - Rev 20:7 "You know that sort of settles it doesn't it, who's Gog and Magog doesn't it...." at 6:30 (or so) ... smh

Christians don't actually read their Bibles, even the ones that fancy themselves pastors and scholars. It's a real shame.
