What of conscience ? Listening to this fascinating dialogue exploration until we get to 23:46 the duality and the desire Don maybe to see God through a human frame ,if all that happens is ultimately subtende by God and if God wrath is spoken of ,his hatred of sin, then surely this is God's shadow God,s hatred ? Somehow at the root of this desirable of terrible things, conscience ,a fear of God,s wrath put simplicitically in ancient minds a resonance from the dawn of civilization a fear of death, of something terrible that somehow is inextricably bound up with God's hatred ,God's...other side His shadow like the parental no ,like the neurotic disapproving Mother all bound up in this ,evoking this primal fear,of the terrible consequence of breaking the taboo,of going against what may not actually be definitive at all of any so called objective good or bad ,seen in of with greater understanding . Jung was dualistic. Taoism says the way is between heaven and earth. So, we who strive to find the way are between nature and the unknown or God. Another image is past or earth, present or Tao and future or heaven.
