I never thought about Lefty this hard, but it is insane to think about how much more angry Charlie must be after being trapped, tortured, and burned only to find it it was her father's doing

The part of the speech where Henry says, "I couldn't save you then, so let me save you now", always hit me the hardest. This was a man who lost everything at the hands of his evil business partner, and he was able to correct the ghosts of the past.

3:14 The blueprint specifically states "provide steady voltage throughout" and not a controlled shock. Controlled shocks are pretty consistently portrayed as visibly huge electric shocks that cause the animatronic to bug out for a bit not "steady voltage". Considering it is called a Soother and plays some sort of lullaby, "Upon suit seal, provide steady voltage throughout" seems more like a low-power current that goes throughout the suit to calm or soothe the puppet kinda like a Denki Buro (Japanese electric bath) which uses water with an electric current for therapeutic purposes. The goal here seems to just the puppet in a sleep state until further notice, not repeat shock the puppet to submission. Lefty's hushed and quiet UCN voice lines could reflect this if they come from the puppet. Alternatively, "Upon suit seal, provide steady voltage throughout" could mean "Upon suit seal, provide steady voltage to the soother throughout" meaning that it needs constant power to function. This could mean that it functions like the music box in fnaf 2 and the "steady voltage" is to keep it constantly wound/ powered up. Making basically Lefty just the fnaf 2 music box but mobile.

"I was trying to set your soul free, my daughter" A very pissed off charlie: *"Oh, I'll set your soul free father."*

I feel so bad for Charlotte, first she was locked out of Freddy Fazbear's Pizza in the rain with her father being nowhere in sight, then killed by someone who might have been her uncle in all but blood, then her soul was trapped inside of an animatronic for years, then she witnessed that same uncle kill some other children, given her age she probably helped those children so she wouldn't feel so alone again, then she was in the fnaf 3 fire, then trapped inside an animatronic that her father had built and would continuously shock her, then that animatronic would take her to Freddy Fazbear's Pizza Place to be set on fire again all the while learning that her father was the one who put her in that condition, poor Charlie

ive never thought about how horrific lefty must have been for charlotte. she must feel that what she is doing is for the better, shes bringing dead children back, and yet her own father traps her in lefty, an extreme punishment for her savior role (this analysis is pre video ofc lol)

Lefty only having one functional eye also adds to the tradgedy, because the puppet has INCREDIBLY limited vision, if it can see through Lefty's eyes at all. Charlie probably has no idea what's going on around it

While it might seem cruel, it is important to remember that Henry was likely doing something completely necessary. The Puppet tries killing Jeremy and Micheal, seemingly hostile to anyone who isn't a child. She still tries to kill Micheal as Lefty, even while being subdued. It's not just because she's trapped as a robot, but because she is also a threat. Charlie speaks in UCN as if she is entirely within control, but I don't think that's true. Ghosts remain in stagnat turmoil, trapped and unable to move on, their reality warped and clouded.

Charlie is actually a depressing concept for a character, somebody trying to do good but it accounting for nothing but trapping the souls into a body on accident, as more just keep being murdered

Lefty is easily my favorite character in this whole franchise. It’s a horrifying concept that works super well, the design is great, the voice is appropriately chilling, and honestly, Lefty is everything I could want in a fnaf character. And I know for a fact you don’t agree. Also the Lefty statue is easily the best piece of fnaf merch, like, it’s not even close.

I always wondered why we never got a shot of Lefty burning showing the puppet inside it. Maybe cause it was the only one who wasn’t evil. I also never thought that Lefty’s voice lines could’ve been the animatronic itself instead of the puppet.

If Lefty has some sense of consciousness that honestly makes it so much worse. Because not only did Henry make a animatronic trap for his own daughter but made it conscious and with only one thought to its mind. Lefty practically is made then told to be a very forceful babysitter. They're created to be destroyed. Also it states "Voltage" not shock,so its more likely energy for the music box, or if for puppet its more like those tens unit things that don't really hurt but feels more like vibration then a shock

I think what makes Lefty such a compelling character is that they physically represent one of the strongest and most ongoing themes in all of FNAF: the death of innocence. This black bear is designed to essentially be a LITERAL WAKLING COFFIN for the body being possessed by Charlie, who is arguably the most innocent character in the main game storyline.

Every time I've read this "Maintain a steady current" part of the blueprints, I've never interpreted it as a controlled shock. Partially because a controlled shock would be more of a 'spike' in current. I kind of interpret it more literally i.e. it literally is a steady stream of electricity. Less of a painful sting on more of a drawn out, droning kind of pain. Maybe continuous exposure to a less powerful electrical current has a numbing effect? To me it makes more sense for Henry to be trying to 'numb' his daughter. This way she won't suffer as much as the rest of the animatronics held within the Pizza Place.

I find it fascinating how lefty directly parallels springtrap, being a suit imprisoning a character inside. Though, oddly this is of Henry's doing.

I think the observable truth of LEFTE is incredibly chilling and horrific, and if I thought it was largely intentional I'd say they were a great character. However, I feel like Scott just wanted to make the puppet less relevant and this was his way of doing that. Henery descending into madness and essentially doing things that mirror William's actions is a great plot point and if it had ever been actually used I'd love it. My kindda hope for the puppet is that Nightmarion has become real, and that a reason for this is Charlotte being warpped from a protector of children's souls to a punisher of the wicked BECAUSE she saw what her father had done in an attempt to 'fix' everything in a selfish way.

Killed by Afton, becomes a victim, possessed an animatronic for years, etc. Charlotte deserves more respect.

I figured the "steady voltage" was something like a tesla cage, keeping the Puppet inside, but not zapping. Keeps it inside and isolated from the outside world, only ever hearing the lullaby keeping it asleep.

I absolutely always felt Lefty was a terrifying thing. Henry recognized his daughter wasn’t his daughter anymore and sought to bring her campaign of vengeance to a bitter end.

Lefty kinda reminds me of the twisted animatronics and how they were basically walking cages, minus it’s for the puppet.

I feel like Lefty's horror comes down to the fact that Henry doesn't view the animatronics as the dead children instead as robotic soul thieves who stole their souls. To Henry the puppet is not his daughter just his animatronic that has something that doesn't belong to it. "And to you monsters trapped in the corridors. Be still, and give up your spirits. They don't belong to you."

This is very interesting ! It's not a very talked about topic. Lefty was always a pretty mysterious character, with sinister implications and I was always interested by it.

Can i just say i love lefty's voice. It's probably one of my favorite voices in fnaf. Alright it's kinda hard to say that because every voice in the fnaf franchise is amazing

The saddest part about this is that Charlie is a child, torn away from life and put in a body so far different from the one she's known. and still Charlie gave the other dead children life again, so that she won't be alone. then Charlie gets thrown in basically a full body cast, and constantly put into a half sleep while in a loud restaurant and crawling in a dirty labyrinth of vents. And we don't even know if she gets to pass on in the fire! That's a horrific fate for anyone, yet Charlie a young child, is givin that sad fate.

I think if we're given just the games, it's really hard to say how cruel Henry really is. Controlled shocks is easily the most disturbing part of Lefty's design, and the games with voice acting tend to vary with regard to exactly how aware of their actions the animatronics are, but the more their consciousness resembles ours, the less okay Henry's actions become. If he's aware that Charlotte is fully aware and conscious (he doesn't seem certain to me in his badass speech) then Lefty is horrific, through and through.

Oh my gosh, i never stopped to think about Lefty. It's... so sad. I kinda really hope that the funko statue is the puppet asserting control over lefty. Rather than a look of agony being confined, i see it as a look of defiance, using her new shell as *she* sees fit.

One thing I find funny is that lefty isn’t just an absolute nightmare for the puppet but also literally everyone else. Lefty has the highest liability in the game meaning that your probably gonna get sued. And well while some of the lawsuits are kinda goofy the one about one of the animatronics biting someone’s frontal lobe is just painfully ironic for what is supposed to be henry cleaning things up. Genuinely Henry has probably hurt more people than peepaw in the games (seriously he hasn’t killed anyone since fnaf2 and it was communicated so poorly people thought it was mike who did it)

Lefty is weird. He's clearly a recolored Rockstar Freddy, but he bears more resemblance in function to the Funtime version of the character than to any other. They both have sensor arrays in their hats, they both are designed to hunt down and capture, and even both have ways to subdue their targets mentally with sound, be that music or a parent's voice. They both even have abnormal eye layouts allowing for more versatility - Funtime Freddy able to see in all directions with his two sets of eyes, and Lefty using one as an antenna of sorts, or however the bracelet system works. The character is also as unsettling as most of the Funtime ones, with the blacked-out eye giving his face a very vacant look. You can't tell if his gaze is focused or not, if he's looking at you or just through you. His eyelid never really moves, accentuating that, and his eyebrows and ears much the same - his mouth alone isn't enough to go on. You get no readable expression or body language from the character. It really feels, ironically enough, like Lefty is a puppet, moved from within or mindlessly on a single objective. Lefty's lines are fitting for the character, I think. They match the vacant look of the bear, which at times looks locked in a silent scream and at others entirely lethargic, and they serve well to remind of just how scary the concept behind it is. Now, the shock thing. Plenty of people say 'oh well clearly it's intended to be to the music box' but that doesn't make sense with the wording - 'throughout' means it goes all through the suit, not just to a music box. And if it's just a music box, then there's no reason for it to be all throughout the suit, as it never has in the past and music boxes simply don't work like that. However, I don't think it's the same sort of shock the Funtimes had. Those were called 'controlled' shocks, yes, and they were indeed induced at the press of a button, but they were barely controlled if truly at all, and given everything William was they were certainly designed to inflict pain. Plus, they weren't steady, they were accumulated charge released all at once. Steady moderate voltage is a much more controlled, and much more effective, way of incapacitating something indefinitely. A single heavy shock will destroy systems, frying wires and overloading motors and damaging systems both directly and indirectly (this also, of course, works on people, though it's a lot less survivable) - hence the Funtime line having a good few instances of instability, most notably Freddy and Foxy. A constant, steady stream of electricity will instead lock joints in place and override thoughts, feeling and movement, as the constant energy stimulates joints, sensors, motors, and so forth (this one _also_ works on people, and is the reason you should never grab potentially electrified objects and instead touch them with the back of the palm - you physically can't let go. This actually happens briefly in TSE, by coincidence). So while it may certainly be infuriating to have everything you feel be constantly stimulated and be unable to move for however long Lefty had the Puppet for, and while the fire was by no means meant to be gentle - it was meant to kill unwilling victims, regardless of what those victims had and hadn't done in the past - it isn't like the shocks that the Funtime line went through, most likely. And it does make sense for this to be designed to incapacitate. 'Behavior on suit-seal not guaranteed' is a note that exists because Henry, just like us, doesn't know _why_ the music box worked back at the FNaF 2 location. There's no camera inside that box, showing the Puppet knocked out on the bottom, no way to know if it's sitting there aware and raging, or entirely unknowing of its surroundings, or responding to some broken programming to stay still, or just playing a game of its own volition. We don't know why it worked, and neither did Henry. And being stuck in a machine made to kidnap you wouldn't help keep you calm. So a backup was needed, hence the voltage thing. Those are.. beds, of some description, in Lefty's SD promotional art, I think? It might be the inside of a rather illegal train ride, or perhaps in a ship or even a museum of some sort. Hard to say, but I doubt it was particularly relevant.

I really like Lefte's alongside all the other FFPS animatronics' implications. The gap between 3 & 6 is seriously missed potential that should be revisited.

I always thought the choice to make Lefty a bear was interesting. I wouldn't be surprised if, in a strange bid to "conquer" his trauma, Henry deliberately modelled Lefty after the very same bear that was performing inside the restaurant while Charlie died. Actually, it's kind of uncanny how often parallels are drawn between the Puppet and bears. There was that teaser for FNAF 4's Halloween Update where Nightmarionne was only visible in the image if you brightened it until the Freddy plush turned gold, and Nightmarionne replaced Nightmare in that update. There was also that FFPS teaser where strings were visible on the very same Freddy plush if brightened, which was actually a teaser for Lefty, funnily enough. Maybe they're all nods to Charlie's fate?

My theory is that lefty sold itsself for 5 dollars as a scheme to get into the pizzeria. Clearly it worked, from markipliers "lefty is FIVE DOLLARS!"

Maybe the next book series should be about the story from kids' perspective. Maybe six books happening in relatively same time, each explaining what which sould did before pizzeria simulator.

That constant voltage feature Lefty is so messed up. Even if I kind of understand Henry's reasoning I think it should always be a point to remind fans that Henry is kind of a jerk and not really that good of a person. Not evil of course, that would be dramatic but he is a responsible party to letting the evil happen. I can only hope Charlie has found peace and will not be dragged back to the mortal realm for more misery and agony.

I honestly consider Lefty's aesthetic designed (100% not it's funtion) to be my favorite until Glamrock Chica came out

The concept of Lefty capturing Puppet is really ironic given in the novel trilogy (TTO) Charlie is captured by Twisted Freddy Sucks he wasn’t in AR given he seems like such a cool character (although has some pretty messed up implications).

My favorite part about Lefty is that Henry stoops to the levels of William in order to finally free all of the souls in the fire. Being willing to shock his own daughter the same way William did to Elizabeth, just to try and free her. But also the contrast is beautiful, the fact that William shocked Elizabeth in order to trap and control her, and Henry did it to ultimately free her.

For being one of the few animatronics with only one purpose in life, Lefty became this character that no many seem to talk about, especially for lore hunting and such.

I just like to interpret Lefty as a glorified exo-suit that broke down due to rain leaving the puppet inside a hunk of plastic with faulty wiring Henry might have a degree in robotics but his Animatronics aren't the most high quality. However the real reason Lefty exists is to redesign the puppet because Scott likes making new models instead of reusing old ones.

Lefty deserved better… both in appearance and in lore backstory. For such a simple character design, lefty was effective, and chilling. Great thoughts and video 👍

Lefty probs is one of my favorite characters due to what it’s designed to do. And while the implications of it might be.. cruel. I believe Henry made it to be like this so, the puppet can remain under control. I’m not even sure if he’s truly aware of how AWARE the puppet is. But still, such a disturbing way of looking at lefty. Really love how you did the intro of the vid this time around!

It’s funny how a good ending speech can so easily shape a whole fandom’s view on a character. If not for Henry’s admittedly great monologue he wouldn’t have been so revered as a hero. Or maybe people just want to ignore those aspects of his character so that he can remain an angel in their minds, which is fine, I’m not saying it isn’t, but doesn’t really change the fact that he’s almost as bad as William. Maybe he didn’t kill any kids, but that he implies he knew kids got killed and did nothing in the meantime. He’s also fine with lobotomizing innocent security guards and leaving them to burn to death without even knowing who they are for certain. I really hope the Puppet comes back somehow, and with how Security Breach has been set up, there may actually be a bit of hope to see the Puppet again. That said, the poor thing really needs a break from, well, everything. Loved the video, even though it was shorter! Especially the narration, that was just a few levels above impeccable. Nice one! With all the puppet easter eggs, references, and secrets found in SB, I wonder if there ate plans for her in the future.

A lot of lefty’s negative aspects are probably the result of Charley’s unwillingness to be captured. With the vast number of years it took for her to be trapped it’s very likely that Lefty is the culmination of multiple attempts and strategies to subdue her and let’s not pretend that Charlie wasn’t dangerous on top of being willing to attack people. She was also doing more harm than good in bringing those children back to life as the animatronics, she is probably responsible for more deaths than William with the potential carnage that an animatronic like mangle or golden Freddy could commit on top of giving William the means to harness remnant with her actions. Lefty having a personality is probably the result of the puppet being trapped inside and having the remnant seep into it sense it can give life to some thing without it being possessed out right like with a glamrocks with its personality based on its programming in this case, being capturing a Target.

It is extra strange because all Henry does in the ending is compliment his daughter but this kind of stuff beforehand would imply he sees haunted puppet as part of the problem or a insult to him or his daughter in some sense

Honestly, an interesting idea for Lefty is that maybe the Puppet's/Charlie's good hearted influence on the machine takes influence on it, reprogramming it to help the victims of afton. Mirroring Burntrap/Glitchtrap, Charlie managed to rest in peace, while the machine that once kept her locked away is doing her job for her. Could be a fun way to free Vanny too

Remember that, charlie give life to children by putting them into animatronic was already against nature. Many innocent people was harm or even killed all because they mistaken for the one who killed them , she did more harm than good , so she is no better than william that created the funtimes animatronic. A punishment fit was to end by the hand of her father who he is also at fault here

4:50 If Lefty escaped the fire, then perhaps the Puppet is nearby the remains of the pizzeria. Saying that, I believe there's a chance Charlie will appear in the ruin dlc. Here me out: Charlie would have been underground the entire time, and the only known glamrock animatronic to come to the what's left (of the pizzeria) is Freddy. This could be how Glamrock Freddy got possesed in the first place.

Lefty is my favourite character in all of FNAF (guest characters like Chipper, Coffee and Souldozer not counting) and also the one character I fear the most that isn't named Ennard. For pretty much all the reasons you said: cool design with horrific implications! The implications of Lefty are up there with VR Pizza Party's ending as the most terrifying things in this series. Also you mentioned Lefty's absence from the ending scene. back when the game came out, I noticed that too and theorized that the Puppet/Lefty may have survived the burning of the Pizza Place. I've had this thought about UCN. I wonder if the Puppet is trying to end the scenario the Vengeful Spirit made so the other souls in this can pass on. It would explain a few of the voice lines in that game.

I love your work very much, the puppet/charlie is my personal favorite character and it's sad Fnaf failed them and moved her aside hopefully for now. But hearing this it makes me personally sad for the daughter that tried to help souls be restrained by her father. 😮

I like Lefty, not because of what he was used for, but because of how terrifying he is because of his use. If that makes sense. I love the statue showing him and Puppet. I think both of Charlotte's prisons, both her animatronics, are so well designed to be almost cute but still unnerving in the end. It saddens me that the series finally explained it's characters and then dropped them for Steel Wool's robot OCs :/ I'd like to see more of Charlotte and more of the real FNAF animatronics.

Great video, as always! I reread the Silver Eyes trilogy recently and realised just how similar the situations are between Charlie and the Puppet (besides the obvious). Both Lefty and Twisted Freddy served the purpose of finding and catching the Charlie respective to their universe, and I think it shows both a parallel between Henry and William. Both set out to make animatronics for the purpose of finding and catching Charlie to bring back to them in a truly nightmarish contraption in concept and execution, and yet, how is Henry's seen as the better of the two? Twisted Freddy is a ticking time bomb of a suit where one wrong move should spell certain death via springlock impalement, and Lefty is a walking torture device that endlessly pains the Puppet trapped within under the misguise of "helping" when in reality, it only serves to prevent one of the only people standing opposed to William from doing what she made her new purpose in death.

I really hope that Charlie gets the protagism she really deserves, i the books she became a plot device, and in the games, she just exist. I hope that someone else makes agreat story mergin the best of both Charlies (a robot with soul powers) and giving her relevant in the franchise again

Yeah, personally, I think Lefty's one of the better inclusions in Fnaf 6 roster, especially with Henry at the helm of Fazbear Entertainment. Considering his presumed lack of experience with remnant, I can imagine Henry using William's blueprints and journals to make the shocking devices and capturing the animatronics fairly quickly and not realising the pain he was actually causing them, especially if he hadn't seen it firsthand like Michael. Doesn't excuse everything but I don't think he was meant to be like a hero character as much as the speech being a redemption through death cliché On the point of Lefty being a separate consciousness, I find it more likely to be the animatronic code influencing the Puppet similar to what we get with Baby in SL. After all, the F in LEFTE stands for Fuse and the voice lines don't imply 2 distinct speakers. Overall, though, I really liked how this was well put together. Well done!

I think that this video makes Henry out to be way too villainous. Judging by his dialogue in ffps he truly loves his daughter and just wants her to be free. And if you think that this is him just faking his love then think again because in the insanity endings tapes that no one was supposed to find show that Henry still feels guilt about everything that had happened and truly wants to make things right. Judging by how his character has been portrayed in this game we can safely assume that he tried to bring her in peacefully but failed. He doesn’t want to hurt her but he has to in order to set her soul free. Sure his actions may be a bit harsh but he has truly good intentions.

Great vid as always, loved the change of tone you used in the first half of the vid compared to the other animatronic presentation vids. Although tbh, all Lefty's voicelines in UCN can be from the Puppet itself, there's room for interpretation. And yeah, damn, quite the underutilized animatronic, though it makes sense considering its role was pretty straightfoward and one-note (capture and keep the Puppet inside the Fnaf 6 pizzeria). Still, bit of a bummer

The Puppet is a really interesting character since we don’t really know what it’s thinking, which leads to different perspectives on its actions. Did it stuff the MCi kids to give them a second chance at life (light) or to have more goons to hunt down Purple guy (dark) Is the Puppet able to differentiate humans, and if so, why attack so many hapless security guards. Has it lost Charlotte’s humanity, or is it hoping to get the place shut down for good? Or the question for all haunted mascots how much does it suck for the Spirit inside to just exist. And I think that’s the questions Henry had to ask as well. Of course he for whatever reason didn’t just directly ask the ghost of his daughter and like us just kinda speculated from observation. The MCI questions were irrelevant by that point and considering the point of Lefty is a trap I’m going to guess he assumed the black and white spaghetti thing was dangerous and had a sucky (after-un-um) life. So yeah Puppet and Lefty, really interesting character(s) and possible hero of franchise completely left in the gutter along with the point n click gameplay.

I think you're missing a key part of Henry's character and his plan. Calling Lefty "a cruel punishment" is definitely an interesting take- but punishment was never in mind for Lefty. Lefty was made to capture and transport Charlie, Henry's final and desperate attempt to save and free his daughter and everyone else (except william ofc). The controlled shocks were unnecessary, but considering there's literally a supernatural entity possesing the animatronic, it was probably just an extra precaution, one that Henry likely hated himself for putting in place and felt miserable for doing. But it was an extra precaution put in place to further ensure safe transport of his daughter.

Of course Lefty escaped the fire! How can Left simultaneously be trapped in a maze with no exit AND be able to go on the public stage? Clearly, Lefty MUST be able to leave the maze, and so it did! Lefty left. I've been telling people this for years! oh and obligatory "Charlie deserves better" comment

It`s never implied that lefty is possessed by anyone other than the Puppet. Even the voice acting points in that direction. When Lefty is talking, the voice comes from inside, thus all the reverb (other animatronics talk like they are alive and sound comes right out of their mouths). Plus he speaks like he is being strangled (which guess who is being in that position inside of the bear). It`s the puppet talking obviously. Also the line "Ive been looking for you for so long" is OBVIOUSLY the Charlie talking, being the first victim of Afton and being the second spirit to possess an animatronic (right after Baby). I don`t even think the Bear itself is possessed, its just the Puppet inside makes it move.

I always thought the "induce steady voltage" was something to calm the animatronics nerves by issuing a low-frequency voltage through them, like a massage chair or something. You know those massage chairs that have a super high frequency speed but they still feel nice? Basically what I imagined. But I don't know... This really doesn't feel like what the blueprint is implying... Ok, so the definition of "steady" is regular, even, and continuous in development, frequency, or intensity. This can either mean the Puppet is calming down, being shocked, and then calming down again as it gets shocked in a repeated pattern, or that it's a continuous, even voltage that never turns off. So it can be seen as flat-out torture, or it can be seen as something significantly less evil as I mentioned. It can go either way, to be honest. That seems to be the case about a LOT of stuff about Lefty and the Puppet. Lefty's line "it'll all be over soon" can be seen as sinister, implying that the torture Lefty is doing will all be over when the fire happens and they both die. Or it can be seen as a calming line like Lefty is saying, "I know this is scary, but it will only take a second", like a doctor giving a shot. Also, I noticed that the mode is called "suit mode". The fact that Lefty is called a "suit" could mean a WHOLE bunch of stuff. It could be seen as super dark, like Henry recreated a goddamn springlock suit to trap his daughter and it's in animatronic mode when it's performing, giving the puppet a sinister fate like William Afton, or it can be seen in a better light, like perhaps once the Puppet was inside and "suit mode" was activated, the steady voltage was just necessary to help make the suit move. Like an electric bike! If you don't charge an electric bike, it's impossible to move it because of how heavy it is. Perhaps "suit mode" is exactly what it sounds like. A suit for Charlie to wear and move in. The fact that Lefty can attack during the night to me implies that Charlie can move. Why would Lefty attack? It makes zero sense unless he mistakes you for the Puppet. It makes sense for Charlie to attack, she's done that before. The fact that Lefty is called a "suit" and Lefty attacks the player to me implies a layer of control Charlie has. Once again, this can be seen as sinister or normal. Either Charlie is so angry from her torture that she's attacking the player, almost like Springtrap, or Charlie is simply using her new body to attack people as she had before. If it is the latter, it could also be seen that Lefty performing is the Puppet performing. Lefty can be left to a lot of speculation. It's a flip of the coin whether or not Lefty is a prison, a torture device made by a resentful, vengeful, downright satanic man with a child, or a gift, a body created by a father who did everything to assure his daughter's peace. I don't see it as anything in between. I seriously don't like that the chance that Lefty is exactly what you said is 50%.

I hate how Afton only ki!!ed Cassidy and put her in a suit, but he ki!!ed Charlie, left her in the rain, got stuck in puppet, then Henry trapped her in a L. E. F. T. E. Suit, then burned. And CASSIDY is the more hateful😢

Today I realized how cruel Henry really is. He likely walled up the safe rooms because he knew William was there, suffering in agony for decades, when he could've called someone there to not only end his suffering (by getting him out or straight up euthanasia) but could also bring the families of those children closure. Then, he assumably greenlights a horror attraction based on horrific murders, the families of the victims of which are still very much alive (since Henry would've been at the top of Fazbear Entertainment, and we know he still had power since he was the sole mind behind Pizzeria Simulator, plus the horror attraction had access to the broken down pizzerias and everything inside). If he didn't greenlight it and it was unrelated to Fazbear Entertainment, he should've sued them or done literally anything to get it shut down. Then, he makes this absolutely horrific robot to trap and potentially shock his own daughter, and allow that robot with his trapped daughter inside to be mere entertainment for strangers. THEN, he literally murders Michael. Like, has anyone ever thought about that? I think we were all distracted by his speech, but he literally murders Michael. He even said he made a way out, but then just didn't tell him what is was, because he reckons that Michael probably wants to die with him. Why not tell him how to get out and let him choose? He didn't want to die the last time a building burned down. Plus, William survived the last fire, so wouldn't it make sense for Michael to want to at least wait to make sure he actually died this time? But NOPE. Henry decided that Michael wants to die, so I guess he's just okay with burning alive. William may have a much bigger body count, but Henry was certainly much crueler in his execution methods. Jesus Christ Superstar, they deserve each other.

I personally think Lefty escaping the fire is a really interesting idea, considering he is the only hostile animatronic who can be in the vents AND resturant. And judging by the various nods to The Marionette in Help Wanted Two, including the story of a young girl who escaped an oven after being lured in, I don't think we've seen the last of her. Namely, the mention she was lured back, years later when being guided by a young boy. She's been left with a scar and wants to get revenge, but is now more knowledgeable and experienced. Here are some ideas I like, as well as what I personally would've done with The Puppet after FNaF 6: - Making her the vengeful spirit is an interesting idea, as you could make it either William's hell or Henry's purgatory. Alternatively, you could actually use Nightmarionne here as the main antagonist, given he's a "dark reflection of what you have created." - Lefty's absence in Special Delivery could've had some lore relevance. Imagine this: After the fire, The Puppet managed to tear herself free from Lefty, and went into hiding, hurt by what happened to her during FFPS. She eventually learns of a new Fazbear Entertainment gig called The Funtime Service, noticing plenty of familiar animatronics. The spirits were long gone... or at most half of them, but their suits were being reused. There was the toy animatronics, the original band... and.. him... (Yes, they put the remains of Afton's mouldy rabbit suit on an endo) The Puppet's motive for stopping the funtime service is quite self-explanatory. Anyone would see violent, wandering animatronics breaking into people's houses as an evil thing, but the fact they brought back an endo cosplaying as her murderer rubbed salt into the wound. Throughout the game, the animatronics might turn on her and she needs to fend them off, maybe you could have Charlotte trying to save the toys, perhaps believing they were still possessed after being scrapped. She wants to give them their Happiest Day, so she spends the game trying to round them up. - Lefty or Henry being The Amalgamation would've been very dark, perhaps you could have The Puppet confront their tormentor near the end, seeing how they have become one with the violent robots. As The Blob is destroyed, she winds up stuck beneath Freddy Fazbear's Mega Pizzaplex, similar to The Mimic. Which would lead into FNaF Ruin. - The Puppet being a protagonist in a future game alongside Gregory would've been an interesting idea that could set up that HW2 story as foreshadowing. Neither are pure-hearted (Puppet has attempted to kill Jermey before, while Gregory has caused quite some trouble with destroying animatronics), but they do have good intentions in mind. And also hot take, Gregory was in the right to guard himself from the furry and her goons.
