The Queen Celebrates 60th Anniversary of Bereavement Charity

4 жыл бұрынHer Majesty The Queen has attended a reception at St James's Palace to commemorate the 60th anniversary of Cruse Bereavement Care.
The charity offers free bereavement support, advice and information through a network of nearly 5,000 volunteers following devastating events, including 9/11 and the Grenfell Tower Fire.
The reception recognised the contribution made by volunteers, staff and supporters of Cruse over the past sixty years.
Her Majesty, who has been Patron of the charity since 1984, was also presented with a commemorative book charting Cruse's development over its 60 years, beginning as a small support group for widows.

J Nicholas-Windsor Yes, she really did. It was done with such confidence and poise, I think the Sovereign was pleasantly surprised. That is how one should curtesy, all this bobbing up and down just doesn’t cut the mustard. She is our Queen and that is correct protocol. 🇬🇧☺️

Man no other woman has worked as hard or as long as this beautifully Regal lady has. So dignified. This may sound daft, but she has been the one constant throughout my life. I find her wonderfully inspiring. Would love to have afternoon tea and a chat with her.

Very honorable and delightful Queen Elizabeth with always wearing black gloves in her honorable hands and shaking with people with a pearl necklace she always wore on most occasion...Graceful occasion made more gracious with her presence and her Royal duties she still performs with so interest and impress everybody..God bless her and her Royal Kingdom of UK.

To people calling her names and belittling her, let me see you still doing your duties and responsibilities FOR YOUR COUNTRY at that age! From her service to her country in the heat of WW2 to present times...nothing but respect for this lady.

I look at the Queen how she walked in . I’d really love that she would abdicate and let the younger generation take over . Probably because I view her as my Grand Mother . I think she deserves a rest and enjoy as much time as she has left .... on the other hand she made an oath to God for the rest of her life . I’m not hating the Queen , I do love she is presence but does anyone feel the same ?
