The same guy, as Mad Dog (highly skilled villain fighter) died in the 1st Part now acting in as Koso, a hitman for the father in Part 2. They're the same guy the director used as different characters and they chose him because he is one of the well respected martial arts expert in Indonesia.

Here r some facts 1) Raid 1 BGM is from Mike Shinoda of Linkin Park 2) Iko & Yayan (MadDog) both r martial arts practionists & choreographed the fights. 3) Iko is from martial arts practiciomst family 4) Yayan (MadDog) once trained somekind of Indonesian special force 5) The raid 2 is the intended film, to prove they can make such & get the fund, they make raid 1 first

Mad Dog is not alive, they use the same actor coz he's good. If you watched John Wick 3 the two bodyguards of the sushi guy there is Mad Dog and the last guy Rama fought in the kitchen. John killed them 2vs1 using a belt before John faced the sushi guy.

Not a full movie and maybe not worth a reaction but I recommend watching the deleted scene “Raid 2 Gang War.” It’s shot so well and works on its own as a short film. Aside from the obviously talented actors and stuntmen, this director is crazy good.

Yayan ruhian (mad dog) from the part 1 didn't survive. Yayan's role here is not the same, instead he portrayed Prakoso, different character from mad dog.

personally for me, i liked the first raid film. a couple fights in this one like the prison mud scene,first prison fight and final gaunlet fights were good, but in terms of the story for me just made the film feel bloated and i felt the 2 hour runtime, but still a decent film.

The actors who played Baseball Bat Man and Hammer Girl came up with a story that they had an abusive-alcoholic father. They gonna flip a coin to decided who would kill him. Their father overheard their plotting and attacked them in an alcohol-fueled rage. In the scuffle, he gouged out one of Hammer Girl's eyes, but they persevered and eventually beat him to death with the hammers and baseball bat. After that, they went under and became killer for hire.
