This is a long one, I'm going to go over some of the new things I got at the time of recording, We'll discuss shooting vintage glass on an OVF vs EVF and ways to improve the experience on an OVF. I'll spitball some ideas for additional content, specifically would anyone want me to go into covering film cameras or film in general? Finally I'll actually share a tip on how to save money on gear!

Why yes, yes you should get back into film photography and make some film content! Also, I appreciate the placement of the light sensor on the GX compared to the GSN - can actually deal with filters, where the GSN's sensor cannot.

Optical finder with manual glass is the best for me.

Haha that's fair. I do think from a practical standpoint the evf is an awesome manual focusing aid.

I have noticed it too that with mirrorless the focusing aids do not always give good results with vintage manual focus lenses. Often the focal plane is a little behind or in front of what the camera indicates. Thank you for the split prism screen trick, I will try it. Would be so nice to use my Helios and my Super Takumar more often.

Yeah, let me know what you think when you swap it in! I am really enjoying it, haha plus it gives the camera a bit more nostalgic feeling if that makes sense.
