Brilliant information. I hope the immense role Alaeddin played in stabilising and securing the growth of the Ottoman culture in lands taken by his Warrior Brother is included in any series about Orhan

Here’s a question I have how centralized and decentralized can an Islamic government be?
@megalodon3655
@megalodon3655 Жыл бұрын
If an Islamic government is decentralized completely then there can be crisis of succession and division in the government like the case with the Seljuk Turks the reason why the great Seljuk empire couldn’t defeat the crusader armies is because they were too decentralized and when Malik shah died there was a crisis of succession and local leaders chiefs and governors , and the male relatives of Malik shah fought each other to claim the Seljuk throne which made it easier for the crusader armies to rekt them. But if an Islamic government becomes too centralized then when the leaders become corrupt they can easily abuse their power and cause so much injustice and some examples which are non Muslim are USSR ,China the Germans during WWII and the western governments at least with Big tech and their heavy censorship.

@@megalodon3655 Interesting question! An Islamic government should not be decentralised, rather, it is much more appropriate for the government to be centralised. Turkic Muslim states often followed cultural laws of succession than Islamic. Under the Seljuks for example, each member (prince) of the family had their own autonomy in their own separate regions. This led to the formation of separate Seljuk states such as the Seljuk Sultanate of Rum and the Seljuks of Damascus. Under the Rashiduns, which is the embodiment of a true caliphate, especially under Umar (RA), the Islamic government was highly centralised. Taxes were recieved by the Baitul Maal and those taxes were used by the Caliph to improve the Caliphate or expand its borders. Under Umar, a governor couldn't retain power for long as every two years, a governor was changed and if citizens complained about a governor, then he was immediately removed. Therefore, rebellions and separatist movements were impossible to organise. Hence, the Caliph remained as the central power and by his command, the entire nation could ward off other states and expand rapidly. These are only a few examples of a centralised Islamic government.

To simple give you an answer: No, a decentralised state can be an Islamic state, but it doesn't mean it's a good one. Rather, it is better to have a centralised state, which is more Islamic, as that's how the Prophet (SAW) conducted the first Islamic state when he took control over Madinah and Makkah.

@@ForgottenIslam alright thx for answering here is another question I have how do Muslim countries industrialize without breaking the family unit and causing Muslims to have less children without people being forced to go to school and delaying marriage like they do in western countries or people being forced to live in apartments and creating a dystopia like in the west how do Muslim countries industrialize while maintaining the shariah and Islamic norms?

@@megalodon3655 Another superb question! Now, Islam has certain roles for both the male and the female. The women are responsible for inside the house e.g. children, housework etc, however it does not mean they cannot study and so on as long as they fulfill their duties. Western media makes it seem like it is so restrictive on women, but in contrast a lot of Muslim women would have been married and also studied. The man is responsible for providing for the family and keeping it secure, if he fails to do that, he has failed his duty. Now, how does this tie into the Caliphate industrialising? The state is responsible for industrialising the state. The men are simply a tool for the state's development. So, you say that the studies and marital duties and so on won't be able to be fulfilled. Of course not! Remember, the reason why the Capitalist countries are a dystopian nightmare is simply because their purpose is to make money and so marriage and so on does not aid them in that pursuit. Meanwhile, the Caliphate's purpose is to establish justice, harmony and Islamic law in the land. While it will industrialise, it will not force men to mary late or live in bad working conditions, it will allow them to do what they need and also will have work as well. Not all will study, some may prefer to just work. So this is a complex question, it would be good to answer these sort of questions in videos but for now, this is a shortened version. Overall, the state will industrialise but won't destroy people's live to do so, that is not its purpose, we are not capitalists.

The turk's are were the Ottomans, but yeah after sultan - Suleyman the magnificent..... every thing about the dynasty was going down hill real bad, even the Janaissaries had the ball's to Dethrone their undesired Sultan. Cause, later the sultans were unworthy ( Most of them, after Suleyman ). Even his son - Selim ii was a really bad sultan - the drunk man. He ruled for 8 years until one day he Literally slipped and died while taking a turkish bath🤡🤡!! only at the age of 48. Like, from Osman until Suleyman. everything was well maintained, impowered, Land's and states were under the control, people used to fear the Sultan's. there were powerful sultans, strong sultans than ever !!! I see why u hate the turks and love the usmaniyah khilafah. Hhhmmm.. . .... ......
