I met him the day blueslide Park was released. I had traveled from Ohio to Pittsburgh to see him live. I was only 14. We arrived early so we decided to actually visit Blue Slide Park. As we walked around there was a mom pushing her kid on the swing but other than that there was no one there until I spotted what looked like someone being interviewed and I realized it was him so I told my friends and we all stopped and just looked at him. A few minutes later he noticed us and stopped mid interview to come up to us and say hi. Ended up he was being interviewed by MTV. Just goes to show how genuine of a person he was. I still have my signed shirt from him. I’ll never forget that day. Rest easy Malcolm

You didnt touch on Watching Movies with the Sound Off? That album showed a clear shift in Mac artistically with some of his most open, heartfelt, and creative tracks to date. You also called Swimming "Swimmings" twice. And no mention of Circles? Seemed like a very abrupt way to end the video considering there was more story after his passing.

I will never forget the day I fell in love with this man and his music, as well as the day he passed. My mom called me because she knew how upset I would be because I always loved him. He made a mark on this generation as a whole, his music is like nothing we've ever heard before he was an artist, a musical genius IMHO. Gone to soon, and will always be loved and cherished by those who grew up with him, its so sad to think how much music we missed out on from him in the future. Love this man, always will.

Fuck any drug dealer that does that, leads to so many unnecessary deaths. As he said: "To everyone who sells me drugs- don't mix it with that bullshit, I'm tryna not to join the 27 club", exactly what happened except one year off of 27.

A human being, the story all too common, far too common. Tragedy. Young, gone too soon. Seems those who remain need to figure out how to get into the thought process of everyone, don’t let anything break you. It also seems important for individuals to avoid toxicity, toxic relationships/chemicals, drugs, alcohol, finding fulfillment in anything that will strengthen them, inner strength not muscles but strength within that come out of the individual/off of the individual. If he had retained his inner strength he could strengthen other individuals and them him. Unfortunate loss, another one.

Macs death hit me harder than anyone else. I felt like I literally grew up with him & felt like he was a long lost brother of mine. I discovered him when i was 16-17 years old, he was one year older than me. Him and I were into the same stuff, just livin it up smoking weed little drinking and just having fun. Then few years later at the same time I did, he started getting into psychedelics (Macadelic album), that whole era. He Started experimenting & thinking deeper than just partying, as was I. Then years after all the thoughts got too loud for him and he started heavily abusing opioids, exact same time i was too. My entire young adult life ive related to his music. Also like Mac ive always kept a smile on my face through my issues and if I wasnt open about it you would think I was totally fine. His death broke my heart & still does. I hope hes in a better place, I believe he is. Much love to him & his family.

We all have demons laced with bi polar and living for that moment. But Mac Miller what makes him unique is was 100% real with himself. This sound he had was a transformation from moth to butterfly. He loved music. Music gave him life. Thou he lived short he accomplished a legacy very few would ever do. We lost Prince another genius a rare gem with high volume love to create music. You got me crying at the end man, I grew with Mac. Understood addiction through living it, while seeing the reflection in his beautiful music. This brother is, to me, the most dope artist I can’t wait to see in heaven. Thank you so much Malcolm 💛

you missed a big chunk of things like how his open mics at shadow lounge gave him recognition, or even any of his alter ego releases. otherwise decent video, but with you only brushing the surface on things the title doesnt fit.
