I love that these guys do lifting as a family. That's so good that they have something they enjoy that they can all do together. I'm a fan of the Lilliebridges.

Gotta say, this is my favorite Power Cast yet. The Lilliebridges are not only amazing Power Lifters but also incredible human beings. It's great to finally see Ernie Sr. on the show. I just wish the sound was a bit more consistent throughout the cast. I kept having to change the volume on my speakers.

Sr had been on the show before. It's Jr that hadn't. Did the best I could with the equipment we had and the fact that once Mark described the mic as being similar to a penis, Sr never got it near his mouth again. We got new equipment after this was recorded.

Great content, great energy and an overall a great cast regardless of the sound issues. Have you ever thought of having Donny Shankle on the cast, even though he's not a powerlifter I think he could "bring a lot to the table" with his philosophies on training and life in general. Also maybe he could give Silent Mike some tips on getting into olympic lifting since he's mentioned interest in it before.

i just got my Slingshot, Compression cuffs and multi purpose wraps in the mail. and holyfuck the quality is amazing, i cant wait until im gonna hit the gym later. will be bringing a product review here later if anyone happens to give a fuck

Slingshot was great, the 36" wraps were great stability. i did not really like the compression cuffs though, i dont know. maybe because i have no pains now they dont really do anything. but i think they might be great for people who has elbowpain

We've talked to him and he's agreed to be on. It will happen at some point. He's on the other side of the globe though and is traveling a lot.

Jim, thoughts on brining on Someone like Candito or Omar or maybe even Bryce Lewis? Not only for the knowledge and entertainment, but for the publicity? The lilliebridges are fantastic and it's great you got them on, but I think brining on people who have larger fan bases will greatly benefit supertraing

Ian Mcstruthers Thanks for the comments. We had Omar on one of the early episodes. Remember, we did 39 audio only episodes before we started doing video. It's likely we'll have him on again AND we're doing a video collaboration with him in the next few weeks. The other guys are good calls and will probably happen at some point in the future, but we still have a long list of people we're working on getting. We're always going to be looking to have guests that we're interested in talking to at a time that they have something specific to say. The next two episodes are returning guests Layne Norton and Kelly Starrett. I think they're some of the best yet.

I didn't start powerlifting until I was over 40 and have haven't done a full meet in a few years. I've squatted 3x bodyweight and pulled over 6 in competition, though. Why do you ask?
